e-cigarettes with nicotine. >> the major point i would like to get across to parent is that e-cigarettes are not safe. we are seeing some very, very concerning health effects. we really don't know exactly what the long-term data is going to show. >> the doctor says the scarring in the lungs could have a long-term effect. he is expected to live a fairly normal life. here you go with the cdc with another alert and raising awareness. so more cases are coming in as people and doctors anden are becoming more aware of what might be causing some of these injuries. >> some cases involving nicotine. some involving thc. all seem to be vaping related. and nobody knows what the precise issue is. you can't blame it on thc right now. >> the delivery system is -- it seems like the delivery system is what's under investigation here. >> itthey don't know a brand, a product, a substance, a chemical, nicotine, none of

well it is a slow morning out there. here at 8:57 you are in the red on all of them except highway 4. they've cleared that fire out of the way right there at emeriville so you are at least a little bit quicker than you were earlier. highway 101 out of the south bay at this hour. and the san mateo bridge lots of break lights there and it's starting to get busier in the eastbound direction as well. the golden gate bridge this morning is looking pretty darn good. no problems there to report. however, the richmond san rafael bridge slow on the toll plaza. despite all the fog. >> that's right.
