newsroom at cbs news headquarters here in new york. good to be with you. i'm anne-marie green. the u.s. coast guard has rescued four crew members trapped after the ship capsized off of georgia. they were pulleded yesterday afr being stuck inside the ship's hull for more than 30 hours. laura podesta has more. laura, now that these men are out, what do we know about their condition? >> hey, good morning, anne-marie green. all are described as alert and in relatively good condition. they were all able to walk with assistance but as a precaution all four were taken to the hospital to be checked out. cheers erupted as the final crew member climbed out of a capsized cargo ship monday evening. >> that is amazing, the best day of my career. >> coast guard rescuers pulled out three others earlier in the day.

. >> they' in relatively good condition after having spent 34 or 35 >> they wereg po aye coasard remiion. inur cw hull to let rescue teams know where they were. captain john read says they initially weren't sure whether it was the men or cargo crashing around. >> when we found out last night that the tapping was coming back and that they had it consistently throughout the night, that made all the difference in the world. >> a helicopter landed on the 650-foot ship. rescuers propelled down and passed food and water through a tell to the three of them. the fourth was behind a glass wall that took more time to reach. >> i know it was a lot hotter on that ship for them than it was for us on the outside. i'm sure on the outside it was pushing 120 degrees or more. >> the south korean company said they're working with the coast

and critics were unhappy with. >> they should not be allowed just not on the united states of america, but they especially shouldn't be allowed in such a place of honor when you think about all the history of camp david and the role that it plays. >> the talks would have been head this week ahead of the 18th anniversary of 9/11 which led to the invasion of afghanistan. north korea launched two projectiles off its east coast early this morning. this is according to officials. this is after they promised to resume talks with the u.s. their regime has conducted ten launches since june including today's. most of those are believed to be short-range missiles, and experts say they have shown technological advancements. the launches happened after a nth carolinian diplomat in pyongyang said they would be

cbs cares. here's a look at today's forecast in somecities around the country. california passed new legislation that will ban pushing students out of school for disruptive behavior. among the items on the bill, students cannot be suspended for falling asleep in class or talking back to the teacher. california already prohibits suspensions for students up to the third grade, but the new law extends a permanent ban up to grade 5 and temporarily
