higher elevations it's what we are talking about all week long. elevations above 1,000 feet that's where are the gusty winds. mount deab low mount diablo seeing the highest gusts. i want an update on the moraga fire near st. marys it is under a warning. and northeasterly winds at 22 miles-per-hour, the current conditions near that fire gusts up to 43 and very low relative humidity values at just 16%. so let's track the wind. again, really up in the higher elevations we're noticing the stronger winds. just 11 mile-per-hour winds out of the north in san francisco. 14sfo. looking at 7 in san ramon. and 13 minor in antioch and you

can see the red colors indicating stronger winds up in the mountains. let's talk about how dry the air is with northerly to northeastern winds. relative humidity values of 19 percent inners concord and 13% for santa rosa as well as for fairfield. a live look with sales force tower camera with clear skies. temps in the upper 50s to low to mid-60s at this hour. satellite and radar. strong low pressure system now over the great basin and what we have is a tight pressure gradient. a ridge of high pressure to the west and low to the east. and that's creating those strong winds and that's why we're noticing that up in, again, the hills and the mountains. so futurecast wind gusts, the windiest time frame for us right now. we are going to see the winds still strong as we head through 9 a.m. you can see 32 mile-per-hour wind gusts in fairfield. 27 in napa and 22 in santa rosa

and 15 mile-per-hour at half moon bay. the winds ease as we head through the afternoon and especially by this evening. temperature wise looking at 28 for a high in concord, 82 for fairfield, 81? livermore and san jose. 77 in oakland and 76 for san francisco. temperatures warmer compared to yesterday but seasonal for this time of year. the extended forecast, here we go and quieter calmer weather by friday and into the weekend. temps take a dip sunday and into early next week but really the strongest winds this morning quieting down as we head through the afternoon. >> thank you, mary. let's head back to moraga. i want to give you information on the street close users in and around the area. you heard ann talking about the breaking news. there are close users and harrington from brant to irvine drive. merrell from sanders ranch road

>> thank you. pg&e is feeling the heat for another reason unrelated to the power outages. >> in this mortgage's report tree tripling crews from utilities are facing a lot of pressure at the height of fire season. over grown trees are getting dangerously close to power lines. companies contracted by pg&e are being called out to clear them but demand is so high more crews are called upon than ever before and sometime employees stay in hotels for months. he says his crew could be in the north bay for the rest of the year. >> the maintenance needs to be stepped up and i feel like it's being addressed. since i've been up here i've been called to a couple of emergency jobs, you know where pg&e is like, hey, we need to address this right away. can you have a crew there and have this to>>pg
