let's take a look at the map behind me with a 33 in napa. 37 in oakland. 39 for redwood city. 35 in santa rosa. it helps to do the comparison. it is one thing to tell what the temperatures is outside now. it adds per servetive to tell you how cold it was yesterday at this time. san jose, 8 degrees difference, still cold enough. it is down into the upper 30s at 39. let's look ahead through the rest of today. there is nothing going on at the moment. if we switch the futurecast, later tonight, that is when we start to see the showers come back. i'll get this ahead until we hit the midnight or i should say the noontime frame today. we started to see the light showers make it into sonoma county. that means second half of the day while there is not a lot to

this, there is a chance for light rain. here is 8:00 this evening. somewhat more noticeable rain for the north bay at this point. by the time we have gotten into the later hours tonight, that is 11:00, going into midnight. light showers to the south bay. that is it. monday, a small chance of rain itself but not until we get to monday night. it is separate system that comes in for the later part of the monday and tuesday morning and gives us another chance for light showers. if you look at the rainfall totals from what we'll see tonight with the sunday evening rainmaker, those are very small, less than .01-inch of rain. for the monday night, tuesday morning rake kerr, the totals come in more know it tissable but still light stuff. that stays in affect until 3 clock p.m. as far as daytime highs are concerned today with the light rain, we will be back into the mid 50s but it is the breeze you'll know fis that will make

but noon, now the showers have begun to show up. they will stay just kind of a constant lurkk feature through much of the day. here is 8:00 tonight. light rain there. you'll notice some light rain, just not heavy totals. then into the evening, showers work near way across the rest of the bay area. not to say we won't see light rain. likely could. the more likely time frame will come through second half of the day, light rain. then a bit of a break for most of monday until monday night. then a into early tuesday morning. that is gives us very low totals and clears out by the time we get to late tuesday. we're still only locking at barely a tenth of an inch of
