marie green. we begin with the mad dash to election day. president trump has planned five rallies in four key battleground states. joe biden will stop in ohio before returning to pennsylvania to barn storm the state. skyler is in washington. very busy today, what's their closing message as they continue their frenzied campaign schedule? >> good morning. bth of these men with certainly confident in the final stretch. for the president, it is rhetoric along the campaign trail. touting what he's done for the economy and in his view what his administration has done for the coronavirus. biden's camp is critical about the presidential's response. saying this election is about the soul of the nation. >> both campaigns are confident heading into the final hours. >> florida, we are looking very good.

a 14-year-old girl was pulled from the rubble of a turkish building that collapse after a powerful earthquake. she was trapped for 58 hours. the 6.9 magnitude square was centered in the agean sea. at least 81 people were killed and nearly 1,000 injured. police in north carolina used pepper spray and a deadly stabbing in quebec city.

those are some of the headlines on a new york news stand. a man arrested in connection to a halloween attack that left two people dead and five wounded. he was dressed in midevil clothing when he went on an attack. it does not appear to be a terror attack and the victims were targeted at ran come. mental illness may have been a factor. organizers of a north carolina get out the vote rally say another rally is planned. about 200 people took part in the event in graham, one of the organizers asked the crowd to observe almost nine minutes of silence in memory of george floyd. several members of floyd's family were at the event. after the period of silence ended, they asked people to leave.
