agree on a new round of coronavirus economic relief for americans. now without warning, president trump is suggesting he will not sign it. in a video released yesterday, he blasted the measure calling a disgrace. he's calling for a larger stimulus check. more than triple the amount of $600. >> i'm sure there are some democrats that are pleased because they wanted a bigger stimulus as well. but what happens now? >> it is a great question. a year that keeps serving up surprises. it is for anyone to say. house speaker pelosi says democrats will try to up that payment to $2,000 that could pass or not. president trump could sign the bill or he could not. one thing is for certain, people need money now. >> it really is a disgrace. >> in a video posted to twitter,

pfizer has an existing contract with the government to deliver 100 million vaccine doses by the end of march. a georgia college student's four-month jail student for violating isolation rules in the cayman islands was cut to two months. last month, 18-year-old pre-med student flew to the british territory for her boyfriend's jet skiing competition. she was supposed to wear a monitoring bracelet and quarantine for 14 days but she removed her tracking device and went to watch her boyfriend compete. they both pleaded guilty and were sentenced to four months in jail. >> everybody is in limbo trying to figure out what do we do. no one wants to do christmas without skyler. not sure what we'll do. >> the family is asking president trump to help to reduce her sentence.

gained 65 and s&p 500 slipped 7 points. the justice department has slapped walmart with a lawsuit accusing the largest retailer of fuelling the opioid epidemic. alleging they unlawfully filled thousands of prescriptions and pressured employees to fill orders quickly, even ones that were suspicion. walmart feels the government is trying to shift blame. including keeping bad doctors from prescribing opioids in the first place. lyft is offering free rides to some people who want to get the covid vaccine. the service said the initiative is focused on low-income, uninsured at-risk communities. lyft will provide rides to and from and for second doses. earlier this month, uber announced a similar plan. today, you can now own a pair of superhero shoes.
