anywhere from 4 to 6 degrees warmer today than we were yesterday. that is just the start. going to go warmer here. for now, back over to you. developing now bullets from a drive-by shooting injured a firefighter and a paramedic. it happened at about 9:00 p.m. right outside of panda express. emergency workers were assisting somebody when shots rang out. they blocked off the area as they searched for evidence. witnesses described hearing 6 workers saabdominal pain and asking for help. when they arrived, they were in a clearly marked truck and ambulance. >> all of a sudden we see everybody gathering around. and then you just hear the gunshots. none of the paramedics said you

know they had got shot. we heard about six shots. >> it's so sad. those are the people who protect us. they got hurt in the crossfire. >> the firefighter was shot in the foot in the paramedic was shot in the leg. along with a man they were helping. a few hours later police arrested somebody who may be assessed back in the antioch shooting. he crashed at mcdonald avenue. the suspect tried to run away while also trying to throw a gun away. that person is in custody. the search is on for an 11- year-old girl reported missing. emily was seen around 5:45 p.m. on friday. here is a picture. san mateo county sheriff's believe she is a runaway. she is five foot two and weighs

120 pounds. she was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, leggings and gray shoes. if you see her, please call 911. when teachers say there sdents those teachers rallied in front of city hall to shine a light on the impact they are having. we have that story. >> reporter: five straight days of negotiating between the teachers union and the school district are now down to one issue. how many days a week can students do in person learning? >> about 30 to 50 people showed up. the union says the school district wa ton-ti teacrs wtoo ur be half days. >> to be with friends and teachers more often lends

>> the board of education is overseeing the school board until new members can be elected or appointed. stomach police are investigating a nursing home accused of abusing an 87-year- old grandmother. the granddaughter shared her story. >> reporter: after suffering a stroke on the 87 yield was put in the care of this san rafael nursing facility. the family says she was abused and neglected. these photos provided show bruising on the arm. this is in san rafael. they say that it was at the hands of a staff member who hit their grandmother t hearparacomptely on the left si her body. she can't move.

she can't defend herself. >> reporter: she says that when her mom reported it to the facility they suggested that the patient may have cost her own injuries. >> speaking in cantonese, her grandmother recounted how the nurse hits her. she sustained injuries on her only working arm. >> they say that there were other neglectful incidents during her stay including three falls. >> she crawled herself over and started banging saying, help me. no one came. they didn't come for an hour. >> reporter: at the very least the family wants an apology and the staff responsible to be held accountable. >> i just wish it didn't happen. i people were not so

moved their grandmother to a nursing facility. so far they say that she's doing mentally and physically better. as calls to reopen the counties intensified they lined up to roll up their sleeves. this clinic was opened specifically for counties who either work on school campuses now or will meet on campus when in person learning resumes. the clinic is offering about 750 doses. >> many counties have had difficulties being able to prioritize. they have said, we are going to stick with this. and that we will let you know when we can look at vaccination. alameda county said that they need to access the vaccine as well. >> this was the first sponsored mobile vaccine clinic in the entire nation. meanwhile, a new drive-

the temperatures are going to be how much we were going to warm up today. monday and tuesday will be the two warmest days. we take a look at this picture. you can see the clouds coming up and over. this ridge of high pressure just continues to grow. so, here's what that does. concord is our example. the average daytime high would be 62 which is the straight line across the bottom of the screen. let's see what happens here over the next several days. we are going to see quite the ark in numbers and we are going to peak by this time we get to tuesday. this is a good example for everyone is going to warm up but the numbers may be a little bit different.

let's do one more example. the average he would be 65. a couple of degrees warmer. if we look at the next five days, we're going to go back on monday and tuesday. so, if that is our example, let's look at where everybody is going to be today. we will top out at 69 in hayward today. numbers are over in the east bay breathing the temperatures into the upper 60s. we're going to 65 in livermore concord we are desire 67. san rafael hit 66 in nevada goes up to 67. the numbers wik noh bay. we saw the warm up caught righ coast is the fact that it's not going to rain. it doesn't rain and all over the next several days but even

locations with temperatures that are well into the 40s. but if you look at the visibility map, every single one of those tells you you can see down the road. the only area of the minor exception is out along the coast. this is much better than the kind that you would often get stuck with. temperatures are still cold here. and it is 38 in santa rosa. but it is 2 degrees shy of 50 right now in oakland. so, we aren't going to turn this on for a while. instead, we take a look at the satellite imagery, we are seeing all those clouds. this is where the storm track is going to be staying. for much of the rest of this month. pretty much the rest of february.the g bull's-eye here the coast shows you the center of high-pressure e

by the time we get to monday, we started to see some of the increasing but that high- pressure right over california. it also keeps the storm track going well into the pacific northwest which does a number on keeping the rain up there. if what we have instead is plenty of sunshine let's take a look at that. fremont goes to 65. hitting 69 in hayward today. the numbers for inland alameda and contra costa county going to 65 and this will hit 67 here in north bay numbers coming to the lower to middle 60s we will go up to 66 in petaluma and winsor you're going to 69 today. one of our warmer spots on the map we can see a nice little bull's-eye here showing up for

i hate to have to keep showing this but i think it drives home an important point. from now until march second all the way through february we are storm track come back. we're going to need march to do making up. and if we don't have any rain, what you do have instead is a gorgeous looking seven-day forecast which brings your numbers back up well into the middle 70s for those inland spots. it doesn't last long. we will go back down by the time we get towards the end of the week. so, it is coming onto two workdays. but, this is going to feel and look a lot like spring. maybe you can start making plans. >> actually have a golf game. >> that's the other nice part.
