that is my lead. look at the view right now from our camera on top of the tower , the north tower of the golden gate bridge with the lights on it. this is actually kind of pretty if you don't have to drive through it. it is going to be foggy on the bridge and around the immediate bay. this tells us it will be slightly cooler today in the city as a result because there is a little bit more of an onshore flow that will help bring temperatures down just a little bit. speaking of which, daytime highs for today, i want to leave you with a quick overview. itl r fomany inland spots. ming back over to you. developing news this morning, shooting in san jose overnight has left one person in the hospital. it happened just below 10:00 p.m. on catholic drive. there was a heavy police presence. officers were looking

for clues, and police now are looking for the suspect. at this time, the motive is unknown. police say the victim is in stable condition. new this morning, also in oe up and flames after 11:00 p.m. a two alarm structure fire. the blaze set nearby power lines fire as well and threatened nearby homes. no one was injured. pg in the ditch shutdown power in the area for safety. they estimated the power will be restored by about 8:00 this morning. in san francisco last night, there were reports of two people ring hit by a car near 26 and mission. apparently, near a sideshow so flice have me aonwas acews.

o socidia iverg dougutswh attendees lit fireworks. all of this large event in the mission paying tribute to the late, legendary selena. hundreds came into the area. at one point, attendees shot off fireworks right in the middle of an intersection. as you can imagine and see, it all brought traffic to a standstill along mission street. thousands of people rallied across the bay area on saturday. demonstrators standing in solidarity with the ancient community, calling to stop the attacks and end the hate. one of the biggest protest was in sanci e. >> reporter: the day is beautiful. it was nice and sunny. we started off at city hall. marched all around downtown san francisco. the group was loud and on the

underside. not far away in portsmouth and st. mary's square, two more crowds, decidedly older. >> it is heartbreaking to see all the seniors here. usually when we go to things like this, the younger crowd. it just shows themselves as a community, they are concerned for themselves, and they want to have a voice. they haven't had a voice in so long that is kind of moving to see that they all came together. >> reporter: that was the second part of the day. all of these groups converging together for an intergenerational rally against tate in union square. >> we want to support our elders so they don't get beat up and taken advantage of. sh them they need to do for the future. >> i brought my kids. it's not a matter of this generation. it's a matter of all generations.

across the bay area. take a look at the list on the screen. berkeley, dublin, fremont, oakland. rallies also happened in other parts of california. caravan of protesters rolled through the center of town. signs bearing messages like hate is a virus and unite now against racist violence. in los angeles crowds gathered in chinatown and koreatown saying hate has no place in their city. people from many different backgrounds came out in a show of support. >> i can't just a home. i have friends. sing other communities being subjected to this right, it is not right to ignore it. >> i am the mother of god children. i understand what it feels to be endangered every time my children walk out the door. >> some of those crowds said they feel thatasian- americane taking on thtemporary

daytime highs pretty close to 80. right about 80 in san jose. we are not there yet. this morning, starting out quite the opposite. the marine layer streaming in through the golden gate. that light is the power of the golden gate bridge. you can see part of russian hill right there in the foreground from the city. that fog is not going to last forever. if we wanted on future cast, we will see how it's going to melt away quickly over the next few hours. in fact, let's advance that image. perspective from the top of the mark hopkins hotel. now we will get over toward the tri-valley where it is clear. the only spot in the 30s, just like yesterday, in santa rosa, where it is 38 degrees. everybody else is in the mid to upper 40s. keep your eyes on that patch of marine layer. models will pick up on it beautifully.

that is why the view is sucked in. a good onshore flow. over the next few hours, it doesn't get much more intense than this. by 11:00 in the morning, looking at clear skies except for the coast. it's not really going to clear up the coastal day. that will have an impa imhi the fostthing,how ing to be. livermore, concord, santa rosa, all around 80. santa rosa is going to 79. san francisco, 68. the onshore flow keep temperatures cooler near the coast. the comparison on how far above average these numbers are for today is what really stands out. livermore is going to be 15 degrees above average. in concord, 13 degrees above average. santa rosa, 12. san francisco, just 6 degrees above average for today. it's not only today, although today is important. it's sunday. the most important day in the forecast because you have a day

off for your second half of the weekend. let me show you what happens over the next three days from here. there is going to be a little bit of a dip tomorrow, monday. we are still not going to cool all the way back down to average. we are going to warm right back up again going into the middle part of next week. this is just a generalized forecast for most human locations today. 67 would be the average daytime high right now. most of the spots i was showing you will be near 80. 80 today, i, and a warm up into the middle of next week. you can see, how far above average in general? some spots getting to 10 degrees above average wednesday. on wednesday, those shades start to go back up to banow d significant warm up. seven-day forecast, just kind of finishes that story off with numbers climbing into the mid 80s as we get toward the middle part of the week.

multiple roads and interstates. that's the complete opposite of what we are going to be seeing here. there is no rain to be seen in our seven-day forecast. instead, the story is how warm we are going to be, not only today, which isgoto be pretty impressive, but for much of next week as well. before i get to have one today is, i have to show you how foggy it is at the post. that is the marine layer coming in from the golden gate. a real pretty shot. you can see towers standing up on russian hill. creeping in over parts of the city. in through the bay. you don't see it anywhere inland. that is the tri-valley. most of us, this is the part of our day. perfectly clear skies for them majority of us. just that narrow ribbon coming in through the golden gate. if we look at the temperatures right now, a couple of mid-30s. 36 petaluma. 38 in santa rosa. everybody else, well into the

40s. look at that. 49. 50 degrees right now in san jose. a relatively comfortable start to the day. most peopl waking up to clear skies. only around for the next hour or two. future cast shows us a strong e never leaves the coast. that will play a part in how today's daytime highs will play out. while he will only be 61 for pacifica, it's going to be 81 in san jose. you can see a lot of 80s. look at the four inland east bay . a lot of low 80s. 79 in walnut creek. 79 in livermore. mid-60s for the city. sausalito, only going to 66. looking at gray for the biggest part of the day. mid-70s as you get back up into the north bay.

low 80s in mendocino. here is how the pattern is going to change a little bit. we are going to cool down just a bit on monday because a storm falls apart as we go through monday. we may notice a few clouds on monday. slightly cooler. the wind will be what we notice more than anything else. watch what happens as we pull down the stronger offshore flow. north winds start to fill in ce the bay area. to show you the timing on this, we will see winds pick up a bit as we go through monday. probably won't notice much for the majority of us here. this is mainly wind and mouse. watch late monday and tuesday. the winds come back with a little more intensity. it might be a 50 miles per hour gusts in the mountains, the great thing about a high resolution out colleague at the color coding. calm in fremont.

a clock collector in germany has a daunting task this weekend. we all know what a hassle it is to update your clocks around the home just twice a year. i can never get my car want to change. imagine if you owned hundreds of timepieces. tina krause has her story as europe moves to daylight saving today. >> reporter:74-year-old werner never seems to have enough hands. i went straight to get a cleaner to just my clock, he says, but they took one look at all these and said no. the german clock cor timees ing side his ent , myks of my life. i love them above all else. that's why he's not treading
