we're gonna learn. over the next 10 years, comcast is committing $1 billion to reach 50 million low-income americans with the tools and resources they need to be ready for anything. covid has changed our company radically. we evolved to a decentralized workforce. we're zooming with all of our branches on a regular basis. in spite of the pandemic, we continue to grow and have really aggressive growth plans in the future, positions anywhere from technicians in the field, supervisor positions, we have several corporate positions available. what we do is pest control related, but it's really being in touch with the community.

several northbay schools are going full and with children returning to classroom today. how did they go? that's more bay area counties entered the orange tear as soon as this week, tonight the cdc director bears the pending doom is on the way. is the fourth surge right around the corner? we spoke to some local infectious disease doctors that they said that another possible surge is nothing like we have seen like before. >> reporter: yes, ken, here in the bay area there are positive signs with alameda county going into this orange tear this week. monica gandhi told me tonight that there is reason to remain optimistic. >> the swift easing of

restrictions and advising cases in some parts of the country has helped officials concerned. monica gandhi is seeing more hope than fear. five what is making me optimistic? it is watching the vaccines play out on the world stage. >> reporter: vaccines are having a huge impact with listening the severity of the coronavirus. >> it is a big deal. zero deaths, the vaccine is working. >> reporter: they are showing how well the vaccines are working out of 40,000 participants the vaccine reduced the amount of infection by 80% after one shot in 90% after two shots. as a rush to vaccinate the bay area there can be it up to cases after spring break but dr. gandhi does not expect the huge increase was hospitalizations and deaths.
