once again in the cross-hairs. russia says it attacked tanks donated by ukrainian allies. local resident says there's nothing here but rail cars. a smoldering reminder that russia can strike whenever and wherever it wants by air, even if only to terrify ukrainians far from the front lines, says this captain. sounds like terrorism. it sounds like terrorism because it is terrorism, she says. russia now occupies 20% of ukrainian territory, says ukrainian president volodymyr zelenskyy, who visited the

ski in the river. is there any way you could take a couple of us down there to him? >> the deputies approached the man and his son on sunday as they were tying up their boat on a dock. the man told the officer they could just take the boat. body cam shows one of the deputies raising their gun as they approach the alleged thief. the suspect says he could not start the jet ski and could not swim. he was taken into custody. if you own an apple iphone, well, some big changes are coming your way. the company announced new features at its worldwide developers conference. you will be able to edit a message after hitting the send button. you can also undo the message in case you didn't want to send it at all. it's also rolling out buy now, pay later. if you use apple pay, you can split the purchase into four equal payments over six weeks with no interest or fees. when it comes to personal privacy, apple is rolling out safetycheck. the new tool lets users design who has access to location, messages, passwords and other apps. elon musk is raising doubt about whether he will buy

our top stories this morning, new york state has enacted tough new gun measures after recent mass shootings across the country, including one in buffalo. governor kathy hochul signed ten safety-related bills into law yesterday. one prohibits anyone under the age of 21 from buying semi-automatic rifle. five members of the right wing extremist group, the proud boys, are facing the most serious charges involving the attack on the capitol. enrique tarrio and others were charged yesterday with seditious conspiracy. federal prosecutors say they used force to stop congress from certifying president biden's electoral win in the 2020

election. and the 2022 special olympics are now under way in orlando. more than 5,50 athletes from all 50 states will be taking part. for some, just getting to the games was a once in a lifetime experience. kris van cleave reports. >> reporter: with the choreography of a ballet, 128 jets touched down minutes apart. it's the world's largest peace time air lift, bringing more than 800 athletes to this year's special olympics in orlando. >> we felt like we were celebrities. just coming off that plane, just everybody -- everybody just rooting for us. >> reporter: we flew with the texas men's basketball team on a luxurious cessna citation. for david, it's his first time on a jet. what do you think? >> i'm loving it. every moment, every minute. just take off. had a little tingle. and tickle. all's good. >> when you're a person with intellectual disability, you often feel alone.
