homicide victims were students at berkeley and they were broth. were brothers. one was 17 and the other 15. betty has details on the party that led up to the. the shooting. >> reporter: 17-year-old jay's he was a junior at berkeley high high school. a gofundme described him as the quieter of the two brothers. he assumed the the role of protector. angel was was 15, a sophomore at berkeley high school. they were to of 6 children and live behind a single mother. neighbors say 20-40 teenagers attended what was believed to be a birthday party saturday at a vacation rental home. >> it started with young people gathering and drinking and then it moved to bring and hostility and to guys just walked upstairs upstairs and started shooting.

>> reporter: martin lives across across the street, he was smoking in front of his house at at the time of the shooting when when she said happened on the 2nd floor of the home. >> it sounded like there was at least two firearms. there was two distinct gunshots sounds so i do not think there were from the same gun. they were shooting shooting simultaneously so there there is no way it could have come from the same firearm. >> reporter: the berkeley superintendent said in a statement, we are saddened to have learned that to high school school students and beloved members of the family lost their their lives yesterday and a senseless act of gun violence. the parent teacher a student association added, we are respecting the family's privacy as we stand ready to support them. we will hold our children close tonight and we will work with the district and the administration to support all of of our students through this heartbreaking time. a crime scee crime scene cleanup worker said there was still a lot of party decorations inside the two bedroom apartment sunday. >> mostly just around the kitchen area wears where we

this weekend. dutch hollow farms farms is honoring peterson in the corn maze this year. it has been 20 years since her disappearance became national news. the owner said he moved forward with the tribute only after getting the approval of lacy's family. >> they gave the approval if yol you will that this was a good tg good thing and people appreciate appreciate it, it has been 20 years which seems so fresh in everybody's mind. >> reporter: the form held a ceremony for the family on friday. the celebration of lacy's life is open to the publ. the public. her husband was convicted of her murder and he is currently waiting to see if you will be granted a new trial over allegations of juror misconduct. > >> tomorrow a hearing to design of elizabeth holmes will get a new trial. she was convicted in january for defrauding investors investors in her defunct blood testing company. she is now asking for a re-child based on

is like june gloom has come back. it is not there now. clear clear skies from the top of salesforce tower. we can see all all the way out to the blinking lights of the tower and the moon. that is the view in san jose. clear skies now and back to the sales forest tower. the clouds will come back tonight they will not be as widespread as they have been for the last couple of mornings. here is what what they will look like. go to the high-resolution forecast, tomorrow morning will have low clouds filling in the bay but this will not be the total gray out it has been. we are seeing less in the onshore flow and as a result we start a warm-up tom. warm-up tomorrow. it is settled tomorrow but it will really get going by the middle of next week. you will love it in the city, you may not like it much for the inland valley's. a lot of low 90s coming back. here are are the morning lows tomorrow. daytime highs are pretty good. this gets us up to average

pretty much. we were a little below average the last few days so low 80s at the warmest. 72 in in oakland. they are a little below average for this time of year. let's go to the seven day forecast and i will show you the the warm-up the takes us through through the week. there are the mid-70s. 72 would be average. we we are pretty much there. they do fleet week this time of year for a reason. this is a fantastic week for it. even though it had not look like you for the past few days it will play out wonderfully for fleet week. nobody else gets a warm-up . for san jose it is not bad but but it is the inland valleys of the east bay that we have to go back to the low 90s for a while. while. 83 would be the average daytime high for this time of year. this will be warm for early october. northbay valleys will warm to the 80s. thankfully thankfully not too many 90s and no rain coming for the next seven days. >
