mostly in the 80s. nothing out of control in terms of overly hot weather, but a noticeable warm-up compared to 24 hours ago. temperatures are running 5-10 degrees above where we were this time on monday, another jump in temperatures is likely for tomorrow. look at the high temperature forecast for tomorrow, and temperatures will reach the low to mid 90s, inland and the east bay. inland , 80s to 90s, 70s to 80s aroun the mid-bay, and 70s above the coast. bit of a weather whiplash. and we will take a look at that in a few minutes. a jury on the central coast has found a man guilty of first-degree murder , in the case that included the murder of kristin smart. while in the commission of or intent to commit, rape, is the statute language. prosecutors allege

flores helped hide smart's bod after her murder. she was 19 when she disappeared after walking towards the dorms afte a pade year 2002. the man accused of carrying out a killing spree in stockton faced a judge for the first tim in the past few hours, but as anne makovec reports so far he has only been charged with some of the killings. anne? >> yeah, wesley brownlee charge with only 3 of the 6 murders he is accused of committing. bu officials say, that should change center today in court he faced charges for the murders o jonathan hernandez rodriguez, juan cruz, and stockton police previously said they believed he was responsible for three other murders as well, includin one in oakland. at this point they don't have enough evidence to charge him in those cases.

stockton police say ballistic tests have linked the shootings to one another. so we'll see about that. the other counts include being a felon in possession of a firearm as well as possession of ammunition. brownlee was arrested in the morning, he was out, hunting, says the chief, at the time, during his signature black outfit and mask. some people in stockton were worried after there was another murder overnight in the city, but prosecutors say they are 100% sure that they have the correct killer in custody. >> we believe beyond a reasonable doubt we have the right suspect in custody. we wouldn't charge person responsible . at this point we will proceed on the three that we have, and i am very, very positive that in th near future you'll be hearing o additional charges as well. >> officials say brownlee is actually from oakland, originally, and moved to stockton, recently . they did not rule out possible hate crim charges in the future, since th five of them 6 victims were

at the coast, that's way above normal. at the south end of the bay, upper 80s to close to 90 degrees as you go further into santa clara valley. inland and the east bay, mostly 90s. low 90s for the tri-valley, but ma be higher atfield and brentwood. low 80s for oakland and east bay, and as you go th gate, around 90 degrees, temperatures likely to reach fo mendocino county and lake county. change is ahead. we will glow 20 degrees above normal, and check out saturday, 5 to 10 degrees below normal fo the first half of the weekend. this will be a ride on the temperature roller coaster. we peaked tomorrow, and the good news is with the offshore wind the fire danger is not going to be off the charts. our fire danger index combines all the
