depape was carrying zip ties with him shouting "where is nancy" eerie reminder of similar scenes we saw at the capitol on january 6th. depape is expected to make his first court appearance on tuesday. he is facing attempted murder, elder abuse and burglary charges. >> the speaker was seen this morning leaving her home. she thanked people for the outpouring of support. her son paul pelosi, jr, he said so far so good. >> while they focus recovery, unfounded rumors have been growing online. one is that there was a third person inside of the home when the police arrived. >> so, today, san francisco district attorney brook jenkins made a point to try to get out in front of those rumors and set the record straight. >> only two people in the home at the time the police arrived. mr. pelosi and the suspect.

report shows that businesses, headquartered in california, are leaving it twice the rate they did in 2019. it found the state lost more than 350 business headquarters since 2018. 153 of them left last year alone. los angeles lost the most which is not a surprise it is the largest city in the state. the second most, again, predictably, san francisco. tesla and oracle already relocated outside of california. most switched out to texas. the report cited high business cost, antibusiness tax policies and declining quality of life in california as the main reasons that businesses leave. despite the evacuations a new report says that we are on the verge of overtaking germany. as the fourth largest economy in the world. one reason is california's record low unemployment, another, the growing renewably energy industry. still ahead on kpix5 news

it looks pretty impressive on the future cast. the rain will not really be super impressive compared to the way the color on schemes are working out on the model. i think it is over zealous on this one. it is why a better way to look at this and way to come away from the system is to color the map in for accumulated rain. how much are we going to get? now the totals ranging from 1/10th to 2/10th of an inch of rain. the numbers are higher, generally 1/10th or 2/10th. it is the kind of rain. you will know it rained. it will not be heavy. not too prolonged. it will be a better snow maker. once the systems hit the sierra the snow just keeps piling up. you will get several hours worth of continuous accumulation. and, by the time it is all said and done with now, we got about a foot on the high side. anywhere from half a foot to a foot with the snow level to 145 feet. that has significant impacts on travel. so, if you

know anybody who has to be in the sierra on tuesday and wednesday, give them an early's head's up. it will catch a lot of people off guard. it will be a difficult situation if anyone is traveling in the mountains. morning low, starting off in the 50s. warmer than we were. day time highs, they are cooler. so, there is your monday, and, day time highs here are about 10 degrees cooler than today was. still a nice day. it will not be as specific. here is the halloween forecast. >> we are just looking at a few clouds, the temperatures at 5:00, for the early trick or treaters in the lower 60s. once we are in the evening we will look at the temperatures in the middle 50s by the time we get there. the only other thing about temperatures they want to talk about, after the system that comes through with the rain, look at what happens to morning lows by thursday and friday. we are getting down into the lower and middle 30s. this is for the north pay valleys. not all getting that cold. most of us, lower 40s. sonoma county, napa

149 people died and hundreds more injured during a halloween festival in seoul

they crowded into a narrow street in downtown seoul. the crowd surged. what had been a halloween party turned into a halloween horror show. by the time rescue workers arrived 10 minutes after the first sos call they had trouble pulling people from what had, in seconds, become a lethal crush. korean television broadcasted medics at the scene doing cpr in the road. the scale of the tragedy became clear when body after body after body was wheeled from the scene to waiting ambulances. this morning south korea's president visited the scene of the tragedy. a sloping alley where the crush had begun. and later at a press conference he announced a week of national mourning and an investigation into the calamity. it will be too late for the family who's gather at a community center for information and then got

[crying] no parent should ever have to hear. south korea is in shock. this is the worst national tragedy since 2014 when a ferry overturned and in that case, too, most of the victims were young people. >> just terrible. back here in the bay area and especially violent weekend in san jose at least two people died in two shootings. one on modera and the other on coffman court. the police responded to modera avenue just before :30 this morning. found a man shot, died at the scene. the police responded to a shooting. that shooting happened late saturday night. two men were taken to the hospital, one died. the other is in stable condition. and, the police responded to a double stabbing on first street as well. one of the victims is in critical condition tonight. it is not just the kids in
