district attorney-elect. pamela price has defeated terry wiley with a final margin of 26,000 votes total. a live look at sfo on the kickoff to what will be a busy travel week leading up to thanksgiving. in fact, predictions from all bay area airports are expected to get close and maybe get back to pre-pandemic levels with sfo expecting 5 million people to pass through overthe course of the entire holiday season. in oakland, they are expecting to get 90% of the travelers they saw from thanksgiving of 2019. sfo is using this opportunity to remind travelers if you don't have your real id yet, you have about six months left. that will be required to board all u.s. flights, starting in may. san francisco's long awaited central subway is finally here. community members

and elected officials gathered early this morning outside of the new chinatown rose station. thousands of people lined up and packed into trains looking to be among the first to experience the new rail system that spent over a decade under construction. it was all for this to connect four new stations along 4th street and selma in chinatown. subway will serve as an extension of muni's t line to bay view in hunter's point. bart ended its fiscal year with a balanced budget but not without help. federal relief funding made up for the fact the agency had 30 million-dollars less than expected. bart spent $61 million less than budgeted. much of that from its high number of unfilled job positions. san jose is trying to get more people to drive electric vehicles. especially in lower income neighborhoods. a look at how after the break. then, thanksgiving dinner will be more expensive than

kamala harris announced that san francisco will be the host of next year's summit. she pitched california and san francisco in particular as the perfect place to host representatives from the 21 member nations. citing the city strong infrastructure. the already strong business ties to the region. next year's conference is scheduled for the week of november 12. san jose wants to increase the number of electric vehicles and low income neighborhoods. especially in east san jose. where they plan to build new charging stations. program was unanimously approved by the city council earlier this week. this is part of the city's goal

of complete carbon neutrality. by 2012. technically, thanksgiving will be the warmest day in the seven day forecast. but, it is going to be about four or five degrees warmer than what we have been doing and some of the north bay communities could be looking at a 75-degree day thanksgiving. not bad. let's go through this in order. because tomorrow is still going to be cold. and, just to see where we are now, these are the current numbers. it is already in the 30s . it is upper 30s , mid 30s really you could say. for north bay valleys. it is 37 degrees now for both santa rosa and petaluma. napa, 39. 46 san jose. those are moing lows

for tomorrow. shouldn't have to deal with much fog. you might have some frost in north bay valleys and clear skies. and if you look at the trend, it was 30 this morning. tomorrow is warmer and if you want to pick out a warming trend, technically, you could say that is one. but, it is still going to be 37 degrees even on our warmest morning there by the time we get to wednesday. here are the daytime highs tomorrow. these are just fine. it is the mornings where we are feeling this fallness. the afternoon daytime highs are still on the mark. it is not like it is standing out as hey, it's getting cold. it is actually really nice in the afternoon. weather you don't think much about. and you can get lulled into the sense of well, i guess it is just a quiet november around here. throughout the next week, it will be. it is certainly through the holiday. that is where they have to be the headline. you don't have to be concerned about weather impacting thanksgiving or the travel for the weekend afterwards from thursday through sunday, we are staying

serene. and at this point, right on monday of next week, so, not this coming monday, but, by next monday, november 28th, that is how far ahead we have got to look if we want to see the next chance for rain. that is when it gets here. a couple of things on this. way too early. to be looking at a system like that saying we will get rain on that monday. but since i know what the interest level is, it is worth looking at and now we know the best information we have, there is a chance on monday and we will keep an eye on it. does it shift earlier and does the chance for light rain impact sunday in that's the big travel day. it doesn't right now. sunday is fine. it's in the clear. but let's stay on top of this. everything looks great other than that. there is your 71 in san jose on thursday. happy thanksgiving and there is your 75. and maybe, technically, a little cooler from there. going through the rest of the weekend. all right
