the virginia wal-mart shooter had a hit list of coworkers he had issues with according to police. he bought the 9 millimeter handgun from that same wal-mart just a few hours before he walked into the store and killed six of his coworkers. police say the note they found on his phone listed a number of colleagues he accused of mocking him. the latest mass shooting along with the one at club q in colorado has caused president biden to once again push congress to pass more gun legislation. but with the upcoming republican controlled congress, that will be a tougher battle than

thursday night with a better chance into the following weekend. the first weekend of december, which is appropriate, since december is the wettest month on average. but the highest the rain chances are right now, just a little over 50/50. 60% chance. that's not a guaranteed just yet, but things look promising. the latest estimate of our seven-day rainfall total is bumped up a little bit. it was a tenth of an inch. the highest elevations are now estimating more than a quarter of an inch of rain for most of the bay area with higher amounts in the coastal ranges. the santa cruz mountains and the diablo range. we will keep you updated as that weather pattern looks more and more likely. not seeing any fog out there just yet. already down to 39 degrees in santa rosa. futurecast indicates some of the fog spreading that will show up bright white in futurecast with the dull gray indicating the clouds higher up. but all that gets out of here quickly. by late morning, plenty of sunshine. we'll see

world cup, team team matched up with english on friday afternoon. united states played great. but the scoring chances didn't come often. the 33 minute, this was the u.s.a.'s best chance. he can't believe it. just before half, here comes england. a great look and a better save by u.s. goalie, matt turner. that's it. a nil-nil draw today. team u.s.a. does secure a point with the draw. the other game in group b, iran taking on wales. the game still scoreless in extras. the 98th minute, iran for the win. yes. that's a big time strike. this sets up a huge iran and u.s.a. matchup on tuesday. the u.s. would advance to the round of 16 if they were to win. hockey, nice jerseys for the sharks. sporting the new
