the window. >> reporter: around 2:30 pm, a witness shot cell phone video,u both hands up>> the guy has a gun, block the doors. >> reporter: robbers smashed display cases and took expensive items, the family owned store sells high-end jewelry and rolex watches. >> and a double take. this is exactly what is going on. okay yes. >> it was definitely shock.>> reporter: the general manager of delarosa, he was in the restaurant and shot the video of a robber pointing a gun at a security guard. all of that happening with hundreds of shoppers nearby. >> packed with kids, and a lot more than this, yesterday was the day off from school, was a lot going on, this was happening. >> reporter: witnesses solve several robbers, some with guns, and williams-sonoma, both

87,000 customers without power. the outage map, 1500 south bay residents of the dark tonight, 180 of the peninsula, some on the fourth day without power. and visiting the los gatos area to talk about how crews were doing with the cleanup. >> they actually came in first and took out the unstable trees to make sure the area was safe. >> and coming in and doing their work.>> at the same time, adding up the damage from the flooding in monterey county. the interactive map, the homes and blacker undamaged, orange and yellow have some damage, in red they are completely destroyed. supervisor glenn church says this kind of damage is nothing new. figure that this has been going on for 75 years means we need to make it whole, and a plan in place, $400 million to get the levy fixed once and for all.

dolores baca joined the navy in 1955, later retiring as a chief the officer. she says women veterans have stayed quiet about their service for too long. >> it is a time for women now to's end up and not be afraid to speak and be a part of our country. but we have always been in the background. and now we are coming up to be equal, and stand up for what we believe is right. >> so many women that have broken barriers and done things that we would never even know what for the male counterpart, they are being rick has been a lot of women are not.>> reporter: perhaps because it has been such a struggle, many women veterans don't talk much about their service, as a result if had a hard time getting consideration when it comes to benefits for both retired and active-duty servicemembers. >> not every woman is willing to stand up for what is right, for themselves, right for the

person next to them. it's important, because if not you then who?>> as a token of gratitude and encouragement, the city offered women veterans a certificate of hashish and, one small simple that their sacrifice is not going on and even though she is 90 years old, she says she cherishes the recognition and urges current service women to speak up for fair treatment. >> because if we don't, everything we have fought for will be lost, we have to continue and we have to be an equal balance with everything. because we are here to stay. we are not going anywhere.
