after 10:00 south of clearlake. a magnitude 2.8 and 2.5, and in fact the shake alert system was activated. perhaps some of you got a notification on your phone. just a few hours ago, a 3.3 magnitude earthquake shook parts of the central coast. the epicenter was north of pentacle in san benito county. it struck after 7:00 p.m. at 2.5 miles below ground level. paul is her to explain this. there were several of them. does this qualify as a storm? >> i'm not sure if there is a technical definition for a storm, but most of them were lower than 2.5 magnitude. you are not even going to feel those. but 4.4 will definitely get your attention. that was th most recent one. so let's look at what we are talking about here. you can see the green and yellow dots on the map indicating smaller quakes elsewhere in the bay area, but it is along the sonoma/lake county line at this earthquake it at 10: 39 this evening. thi was felt over a fairly wide

bay. we do expect another burst of wind tomorrow evening. the wind advisory goes into effect for solano county. i don't thin that the strongest winds will make their way into solano county. i think it will mainly stay further to the east. but still, you may want to take dow the patio umbrella lest it take light when the gustiest winds pick up tomorrow morning. for the rest of the bay area, it i enough to disperse plenty of pollen across the region. media high category on wednesday, the towards the top of the scale in the high category on thursday. it is mulberry, oak and ash as the top three offenders. if you are sensitive to those. there are not any more rain chances the rest of the weekend to wash that stuff into the atmosphere. so sunday through saturday, you can see that it is not zero. w get back into a more active weather pattern monday and tuesday with a chance for a few very light, passing rain showers. some signs that may be a more substantial system by april standards will be heading our way. not an atmospheric river, not even close, but

pattern is in place. we have th rain shower chances in the forecast by monday and tuesday of next week. we will be tracking that as we head throug the next several days. rain chances at this point are prett modest, but it is a rain chance in the month of april. that doesn't always happen around here. sara? bicyclists in san francisco took to the streets tonight wit a very clear and strong message we have had enough ! richmond family sf organized a protest ride through golden gate park tonight. they want a protected bike lane to keep riders safe. that is of course the street where elite cyclist ethan boyce was hit and killed just last week. cyclists want the city to install concrete barriers on th boulevard all the way through golden gate park and the presidio. >> we lost 30 people last year in san francisco traffic violence. the only way to reduc that number to zero is by building concrete protected infrastructure that keeps cars

away from cyclists and pedestrians. >> stories like these are not just happening in the city. a bicyclist was hit and killed just yesterday in redwood city. chp says the crash happened nea kenyatta road. elizabeth holmes is one ste closer to being behind bars. th disgraced theranos founder lost her bid to stay out of prison today. the judge issued an 11-page ruling about it. homes will have to surrender on april 27th. she had her second child sometime after she was sentence to more than 11 years in prison it was all in connection with her failed drug testing company
11:18 pm
experts say the a.d. decision sends a strong message. >> we don't have two systems of justice. ms. holmes needs to start her time just like anybod else. there was a message that was to be sent to the community that ms. holmes and what she di is something that needs to be punished and needs to send a message to silicon valley that you cannot get away with fraud. >> clark says that holmes can appear to the ninth circuit to try and give her more time out of custody. the judge recommended that holmes serve her sentence at the slow security facility in bryant, texas, but it will be up to the feds to decide where she is held. if you noticed smoky skies in rodeo earlier, it was becaus of this flaring at the phillips 66 refinery, which lasted for a couple of hours. tonight the refinery told us that it lost power just after 5:00, and that is when the flaring started. of course flaring is a way to reduce pressure. the refinery claims nobody was injured. bay area air quality management is
