about the advent of ai, and the perspective on it, tonight, tha might surprise you. from kpix. this is the lat news [music] . hi, these days it is hard t go a day without hearing about the latest amazing things that ai can do. it can plan a vacation for you. compose music. it can help you invest your money. it has ways to change the way people do businesses in all kinds of industries and how it gets misused gets a lot of attention too. the way it is used in politics is controversial. ther was a 30 second biden attack ad created with ai software using fake images of san francisco. that has never been done before it has future under a second biden turn and showed a flash o the golden gate bridge and

soldiers lining the city streets. just a few weeks ago the fake pictures of donald trump running from the police started circulating. before the former president was taken into custody which, of course, looke nothing like this. and ai can get creative with some of these fake images. how about pope francis in a white puffer jacke that looks like it just came of of the runway? these images did trick people online. twitter had to add a label it was fake. you can do just about anything with ai including things you ar not supposed to be doing. just ask a college kid. a lot o■f students are using ai to do their homework, presentations and it is not like you are ripping off someone else's existing work. telling the difference between something created by ai and created by a person can be difficult. biden administration is considering some regulations and it is unclear how it will be
