stars is one big question mark. vern glenn is here to help us talk about this. we need to rea the tea leaves regarding the draymond green situation! does he stay or go? steve kerr maybe gave us a clue today. >> clue? he said they cannot wi without him! you cannot just show up in a uniform and scream at refs as we all see. he makes the calls on offense and defens and he just, he is like a coach on the floor and they cannot wi without him. so steve kerr running his final presser. so many topics, so many issues. most we know about, some we don't. but green? critical. even green says that he would not be a warrior for his entire career. he has an option that will pay him $27.5 million. he and kerr were forthcoming in that the punch that occurred in october caused a bruise to the team that lingered! the lakers finished them off last round. here is more steve kerr today.

i'm orlando and i'm living with hiv. i don't have to worry about daily hiv pills because i switched to every-other-month cabenuva. for adults who are undetectable, cabenuva is the only complete long-acting hiv treatment you can get every other month. it's two injections from a healthcare provider. now when i have people over, hiv pills aren't on my mind. don't receive cabenuva if you're allergic to its ingredients, or if you're taking certain medicines, which may interact with cabenuva. serious side effects include allergic reactions, post-injection reactions, liver problems, and depression. if you have a rash and other allergic reaction symptoms, stop cabenuva and get medical help right away.
1:48 am
tell your doctor if you have liver problems or mental health concerns, and if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, clude injection-site reactions, fever, and tiredness. if you switch to cabenuva, attend all treatment appointments. it feels good to just live in the moment. with every-other-month cabenuva, i'm good to go. ask your doctor about cabenuva today.

be setting a new date for the 39-year-old mother of two to surrender and begin serving her time. it was really hot in the ba area today, especially in the tri-valley. almost 90 degrees in livermore. kids were trying to cool off at the park or just trying to stay in the shade. with all that warm weather moving in, all the snow we saw over the winter, it is melting and happening fast. the uc berkeley central sierra snow labs is that one third of it ha melted over the past five weeks when it melts too fast, of course, it can cause problems. the merced river is rising quickly and if it floods it could ruin vacation plans, especially if people want to camp. we sent wilson walker to check it out. >> reporter: water continues to rise in the yosemitevalley buob going to four significant closures beyond what we have already seen. >> it is amazing! the amount of rain that we got and snowmelt, really this is a result of the

snowmelt, made this all possible! so it is pretty incredible. it is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. >> reporter: water is once again searching through the valley and the merced river is on the rise. >> we come here every year for mother's day and stay for a week. we love it. but this is the most water we have ever seen. >> the water level in the merce river peaked this morning at just over 10 feet, which is considered flood stage. >> reporter: the river is measured at the bridge where th water rises and falls a bit eac day even within several days of warm weather. for now the park is sticking with the current plan of three close campgrounds a bigger question may be how much of the snowpack does this warm stretch burn off? >> it will be interesting to se how much is left, because this is a cycle that could go from mid to late june.
1:53 am
>> reporter: for the visitors that are here right now, the runoff is everywhere and it is sight to behold. >> veryressiv is t of water! >> there are a lot of waterfall you don't normally see! >> reporter: if a big melt comes in these digestible sizes it may unfold without much disruption. >> as long as the snow melts nice and steady instead of all at once, we are great. >> reporter: but the kind of flooding we are talking about i very minor. it is just pushing up into some of the meadows and the campgrounds that are closes to the river. this is really nothing like what we even saw i 2017 when they close the valley when a massive atmospheric rive came over yosemite. that led to a bit of a flash flood and the water system pushing the river up quickly. they're not expecting that. that is about the level they have to close roads herethat is not

coming, but maybe some problems check your campgrounds. if you are coming up, you will see som spectacular things. this is actually one of the reasons why a lot of people come to this park, and it is putting on a show right now. >> i love that wilson stories are just about yosemite and all these amazing places, and he probably gets to camp in betwee doing them! >> it is a good gig! he said he was driving back tonight. some of the campgrounds are close because of the flooding situation. >> he has found somewhere else to go! >> good for him! you know what? that is how you do 9-5 employment. go to the mountains and do it! let's take a look at what the merced river will do over the next few days. unfortunatel the flooding problem will get worse. you can see the up-and-down pattern of the rive level which is due to the snowmelt and the nature of how that happens. the sun comes up, there is more melting and the water level rises. after the su goes down the water level falls but it will settle a increase

the ne it is expected to bring moderate floo stage by the second half of the weekend. it will be on sunday a almost 12.5 feet. 12.4 feet is the forecast stage. moderate flooding is 12.5 feet. that is when they close northside and southside drives, which is of course the road system that takes you around yosemite valley. that would severely impact tourists and folks throughout california. and the of course the melting is going to continue, because look at these temperatures. the valley floor will reach into the mid t low 80s. whether snow is it wil not be that warm but it will certainly be warm enough with plenty of sunshine for the melting to continue. calm weather is going to continue fo the bay area as well. there is just a hill of air in the atmosphere that will shift further east, allowing the onshore breeze to kick in beginning tomorrow but it is no going to send this back to near average temperatures for everybody until we hit thursday
