former president donald trump is set to surrender to authorities today in miami to face historic charges in the first federal criminal prosecution of an ex-president. trump arrived in florida yesterday ahead of today's arraignment on more than three dozen charges accusing him of mishandling classified documents and on structsing justice. security is tight around the court house. cristian benavides is there with the latest. good morning. >> reporter: good morning, anne-marie. mr. trump is expected to arrive around 2:00 for a 3:00 p.m. hearing but others are expected to arrive much earlier. officials say they're prepared for the crowds, whether large or small. in a matter of hours, former president trump will be arraigned in a federal courthouse in miami. he has said he will plead not guilty to 37 alleged counts to

bedminster, new jersey, golf club where he'll give remarks and hold a fund raiser. now, remember, we have a local federal law enforcement along with secret service, so officials do feel prepared. however, the ultimate x factor here is thebecause it is south a is the weather and how that could affect crowds. we're expecting rain beginning at 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. anne-marie? >> that might have an impact. cristian benavides in miami, thank you. concerns are growing whether the documents in trump's possession could have posed a national security risk. documents were strewn around mar-a-lago including a ballroom and stored on a floor. still top officials are split over whether national security was ever compromised. >> this was a risk to national security beyond calculation. >> there's no allegation he sold it to a foreign power or that it was trafficked.

moments before the northbound lanes crumbled. >> trying to navigate the curve, lost control of the vehicle, landed on its side, ruptured the tank, and ignited the fire. >> experts say the bridge was structurally sound but the overpasses are not designed to withstand an intense fire. one person was killed and nearly a dozen others hurt when a boat capsized in a cavern. i happened yesterday in lockport north of buffalo. reporter tara lynch from our buffalo affiliate wivv has more on how the emergency crews scrambled to rescue the 29 people who were on board. >> reporter: reporting a boat that has capsized. >> reporter: first responders raced to the lockport cave just after 911 calls came in before 11:30. >> i came out and witnessed them punching a hole in a wall. >> reporter: a tour boat carried a niagara false tour group cap side at the end of a narrow 300-foot channel, tossing

video showed daniel penny holding jordan neely. penny says he jumped into action after neely began threatening passengers. >> i was scared for myself, but i looked around and saw women and children and he was yelling in their faces saying these threats. some people say i wasok to deat i was tryio restrain him. >> penny also says he used the choke hold on neely for less than five minutes, not 15 minutes as previously reported. he said it had nothing to do with race. and breaking overnight, ukraine says russia has carried out a massive missile attack. at least six people were killed. emergency services rushed to put out flames as air raid sirens blared. the actions come as ukraine claims further small gains in the early stages of its
