security. people were just stranded and sitting on the floor. she added that one man passed the time by singing and playing his guitar. even though power is back on, the airport i still recovering from some backlogs. one traveler sent us video showing the luggage pilin up at terminal three after planes were finally allowed to pull in and park all at once. other travelers had bigger headaches tonight after being diverted to san jose. we know that included some alaska airlines flights. there is no word yet on what caused this outage at sfo. let's get to our other top story tonight. check this out. a's fans packing the oakland coliseum for the first time in what seems like forever, to sen a blank message to the athletics' top brass. it was s loud that this fan actually got

to a cascade of troubles at thi southern california school. look at the water rushing down the steps as a lone firefighter just stands there baffled, trying to take care of everything. this happened in studio city near a complex that houses a church and a school. several classrooms flooded, but since school was out for the summer nobody was in them. new tonight, with a growing number of businesses pulling up stakes in downtown san francisco, things have been looking pretty grim for union square as we have been reporting. tonight city leaders had planned to bring something different to downtown. more housing. the board of supervisors just approved legislation making it easier to convert office space into housing by simplifying the approval process. the board sai that it also changes zoning rules to allow different types of businesses in union square and downtown.

temperatures in livermore. the average is 82 degrees. you will be near that tomorrow and just little bit above it thursday, friday and saturday. it will feel like the middle of june. there is the drop that happens for sunday and monday, then we ride back up the other side of the temperature roller coaster later next week. we are just locked into the median category in pollen through the rest of the work week and into the firs half of the weekend. no changes expected there. the salesforce towers in the fog. we are looking down towards the ground temperatures are in the 50s across the board. everybody is between 55 and 59. the fog will continue to spread into the inland valleys and be pretty widespread, but it will back up out of the inland valley as quickly as we head through the first half of tomorrow. unobstructed visibility already likely for most of the bay area with the last of the fog dissipating between 10:00 and 11:00. on the coast you will see a little bit of sunshine peeking through the low clouds as we head towards lunchtime an into the afternoon. high temperatures tomorrow, after we

bottomed out in the low 50s we will drop into normal territory later tonight with high temperatures tomorrow. for some reason i wanted to skip past th lows. highs will be mid-to-uppe 60s around the bay and two to three degrees above normal. the coolest spots will be in the north bay. the southwesterly winds are positioned to push the marine air into the valleys of the north bay while inland and the east bay will see more of a mix of upper 70s and low 80s with some of the warmest spots even reaching into the mid-80s. the warming trend will be subtle throughout the bay bu will exist. friday looks like when temperatures will peak and into saturday as well with a minor drop in temperatures near the water for the second half o the weekend on father's day and the juneteenth holiday on monday. the more noticeable dro in temperatures is further inland. the north bay does not warm up as much, so your drop will be modest, but san jose, about a 10 degree drop from saturday to sunday and a simila drop for inland parts of the east bay. for consistency, head to the coast with temperatures hovering near 60 degrees. vern?
