so this guy cuffed on san francisco streets apparently tried to make a break from police, but he didn't get too

far and hit a wall literally. yeah, so that happened. the person that posted the video told us this short lived chase happened in the excelsior neighborhood wednesday night. the man in handcuffs ran into the road trying to get away fro officers, but you see there he ended up veering into a store front and falling down. we reached out to police about wha happened, but we have not heard back. all right, in los angeles, different kind of chase. it ended in waterworks. police say they were chasing a stolen car when it smashed into a hydrant, sheering it off. water started gushing out of the windows, and then the suspect took off running. no word on whether police caught up with him. and it is scorching hot in arizona, and pools are in high demand. but this really isn't the backyard dip that one phoenix homeowner had in mind.

the family was getting ready this morning when they heard what sounded like an explosion in their newly renovated backyard. a tesla was submerged in their pool, yep. and the driver apparently crashed right through their brick wall but wa able to get out of the wreck okay. the pool and wall not so okay. and on the topic of pools, here's what police found in one at a home in burbank. a bear just hanging out taking a dip i the jacuzzi. hard to ignore the stunning view. he's just hangin out. he got out, scaled a wall, and climbed a tree. it turns out the big crack that shut down a popular roller coaster in north carolina wasn' the only part that was broken. the amusement park replaced the steel support column that broke last month, but test runs just turned up another smaller break

80s for several days, and then just a little hotter for the first weekend in august. but extreme heat looks like it will continue to avoid us for awhile right now temperatures in the 50s and 60s across the board. down to 56 in san francisco for the cool spot. still holding onto 65 in concord. the fog is beginning to make its move over downtown. it's going to push across the bay into some of the inland, but it won't last long. it takes longer around the bay, and along the coast, i wouldn't anticipate much sunshine at all just tomorrow. but throughout the weekend into most of next week. temperatures dropping int the 50s. 50s in most locations think to start the day on saturday. then we warm up. everybody's temperatures within a few degrees of average. 60 along the coast. 60s and 70s around the bay. 70s on the peninsula, and mostly 80s inland. the hottest spots in th delta only getting up into the

low 90s. in late july, if we're below 100 in those areas, we're doing just fine. the forecast for the second game of the giants series against the bosto red sox as they hope to improve on tonight's result, not to steal andrea's thunder, game in the 60s and steadily dropping. pleasant afternoon overall. and if you're headed out to the second taylor swift concert, temperatures in the upper 60s b the time she takes the stage. should be comfortable saturday evening. enjoy the crowds. temperatures are going to dip t below normal basically for the first four days of august. tuesday, wednesday, thursday an friday. mid-60s in san francisco. upper 60s and low 70 for oakland and the east bay. the north bay hovering in the lower half of the 80s most of next week, and only 70s in san jose for the first four days of august. we'll take that as long as it wants to stick around. bu it looks like just beyond the scope of the seven-day forecast we'll be in for a warm up, except along the coast where yo
