before claremont avenue. the other two shootings happened on july 28 , a man was shot as he rode in the backseat of the car. he died two days later. o july 26 a driver and his son were rammed by two cars chasing each other and firing. 17-year-old catherine schreiter has been missing for over a month. deputies say she drove away from her house on july 5 and never came back. thi week they found her car abandoned in the santa cruz mountains. the sheriff's department says her white honda accord turned up yesterday but there was no sign of katie. it was found on the road going up to the park. cell service is notoriously bad in that park.

the fog pushes across the bay tomorrow. starting in the upper 50s were around 60. the fog wil be stubborn. that limits how much the temperature warms up around the bay. 60s to around 70 around the bay with 70s on the peninsula. the warmest spots only hitting the low to mid 80s. if you are going out t the series finale of the athletics and the rangers, 123 is the first pitch. topping ou around 70 degrees. the seven day forecast shows to pitchers warming but not until we heade to the weekend. once again it will be a modest warm-up. temperatures running five degrees above normal by monday a couple of degrees warmer tuesday. low 90s for most inland parts of the date area .

of beaumont texas, she was mowing her lawn. he lived in beaumont. the snake suddenly fell from above and it struck her glasses, the hawk swept dow to get the snake and it scratched peggy. we had to blur the injury photo because it was gruesome. >> i could not believe what was happening. the hawk came down times to get the snake and when i looked down i had blood all over my clothes and my arm. i had severe bruising. >> there was enough there for me to see. >> can you believe it? she say she has nightmares. she is doing okay now.
