some communities that were devastated by the earthquake last friday are criticizing the government's relief efforts as time to rescue any remaining survivors is running out. as the search for survivors of friday's deadly earthquake intensifies in morocco, it's a race against time and dangerous work. >> if there is a shock, then new buildings can collapse. so it is a real safety issue for the rescuers. >> reporter: hundreds of survivors are at a makeshift hospital set up by the moroccan military. though for thousands of other residents there's heartbreak. this family walked through what's left of their home while mourning their 7-year-old son and brother who died in the quake. in the shadow of this damaged building, tourists now walk the streets again. some say they're not afraid of aftershocks. >> i don't think it's going to affect the tourism industry. i think people will still come here to visit. >> reporter: it's a different scene in the remote communities of the atlas mountains where survivors sift through the rubble of their homes.
