1:44 am

slot machineare out of service. don't forget the fear that your personal data could have been stolen by hackers. all of that because of an ongoing cyber attack against mgm hotels. reuters reports tat a hackig group named scattered spider got into mgm system so the hotel group had and contain the damage. days e later the resort website is still off-line and a lot of things actually in the hotels and casinos are not working as they should. at the bellagio, some slots work, but you have to talk to an attendant to get paid out, even $.25. checking into the hotel there is a line, >> no apologies from mgm, no apologiefrom bellagio. >> they got all your bank details, and how is that going tpan out if you get home and you have a massive bill from

throom. i would've given up. not everybody has the option to just go somewhere else, especially with money involved, but -- >> once you havpaid, if you are going to spend a week there, spending a few hours in line is worth it for the rest othe week, but you get into the room and somebody else is already in there! i don't think we are done hearing about this just yet. you are never done hearing about the fog in san francisco! september tends to take a break but that has not been the case this september. summertime patternnd the fog is spreading out again. low cloud cover and fog spreading across the bay through the rest of tonight. hazy sunshine again tomorrow with some wildfire smoke in the atmosphere. air quality should be okay. high temperatures near average tomorrow. the cooldown starts to kick in on friday and will
1:58 am
be more noticble over the weekend and to start off next week. let's take a look at the current air quality map which includes a lot of yellow dots interspersed with green dots. the worst that we are seeing is moderate air quality. i think that is about the worst is going to get because of the amount of smoke at ground level not being very concentrated. we are towards the low end of the ectrum and modelsindicate that will remain the case tomorrow as the winds shift direction, which will help to push that smo further to the north. also good ns is that a little bit after tomorrow. so everything is waiting for fridaycooler temperatures, better airquality. ragweed is still the primary offender, so if you are sensitive to that might be ready. but not much cloud cover at ground level. temperaturs are in the 50s in santa rosa, san francisco and oakland. still hanging onto 70 degrees in concord but you join everybody else in the 50s later tonight. we are going to see reduced visibility into the inland valleys, but even where the fog makes its way inland it is not going to last very long.
1:59 am
tough time shaking it entirely. i think any amount of sunshine you see peeking through will be a bonus for thursday afternoon. temperatures tonight dropping down to about 60 degrees and highs are almost exactly normal for e middle of september. mi60s along the coast, assing you see a little sunshine, otherwise you are in the upper 50s. around the south end of the bay, low to mid 80s in the santa clara valley and even the hottest spots east of mount diablo around 90 for antioch in brentwood. could be a lot worse for mid-september. temperatures in the north bay a mix of 70s and low 80s until you go further north. still feeling like the peak of summertime with temperatures into the 90s. the cooldown that ppens over the weekend will be minimally noticeable for san francco and oakland, just a two or three degree drop. the
2:00 am
cooldown is more noticeae to eight degree drop for the - clara valleys and inland. ta - sundayand monday those mperatures will be a good six to eight degrees below normal 3 but then we returned to near average on wednesday which is the second to last day of summertime, officially , with friday. it is very niche. also a fun word. this world-famous japane artist is puttingonsters on splay. a preview of the first solo show at bay area museum. the a's are definitely up for proving who has the upper hand in the al west. and the
