cbs news bay area. we will switch gears, now. darren, i hear that we might have a few raindrops. >> you hear correctly. yeah. there is rain showing up now on first alert doppler's, so let's get straight to that and i will walk you through how, by tomorrow morning, we will be getting light rain in the north bay already. that is life. we put it into the futurecast, and watch the last few hours of satellite, you can see the rain progressing, more of it closer to the coast. the high-power forecast models can depict that line from where it is now to where it is going. of the coast, let's look at the closer look and pull out some of the higher resolution and watch the early morning hours getting us to about 9:00 or 10:00 in the morning, that is when the leading edge of the showers has made it into the northbay. that is going to be the most impressive part of this whole thing. northbay in the morning, we will watch the showers quickly fall apart. but, they don't fall apart and disappear. there will be lingering on-again off-again showers that will stay with us for a good part of the day tomorrow, but really, it is sonoma county and marin where the best of the rain for tomorrow will be. if

in 2025 . some staff members have testified that they felt pressured to complete duties outside of their job description, such as assembling ikea furniture for their bosses or even using vacation time to campaign for them. employees at walgreens are planning a series of walkouts next week. they say harsh working conditions make it hard to fill prescriptions safely. they also say that prescription and vaccination expectations are just too much, when staffing is so low. walgreens acknowledged that employees are overworked. labor is a key issue for whoever gets elected to the senate in california. >> frontrunners hosted by the national union of healthcare workers, making their pitch to union members. kelsey sword has the details.

>> reporter: with an endorsement on the line, representatives of barbara lee, katie porter, and adam schefter to the stage in los angeles sunday morning, answering questions from reporters and audience members for more than 90 minutes, all in the hopes of winning the support of healthcare workers in the race for california's open senate seat. the top three democratic candidates in the race discussed a variety of topics, from their thoughts on healthcare policy, striking workers, student debt, and affordable housing. one question zeroed in on the issue of mental health and california's newly created care courts. all three candidates were asked their opinion on the new courts, and if they should be replicated on the federal level. >> i believe it is appropriate for families and loved ones, and mental health care workers to have the ability to go to a court, but i want to see the strongest civil rights protections possible. >> i think that we ought to allow the care courts experiment to play out before we agree on a national level

get on the rain. let's take a look at how we cool down. quite a bit. we went down 20 degrees in oakland from yesterday. san francisco cooled down 20 degrees. if you were in the bay, you felt the difference today. here is what we will do tomorrow. those are daytime highs. look at the inland valley's. low 70s. look at santa rosa, 67. it was 97 degrees there, just the day before yesterday. this is going to be a dramatic cooldown. and, yeah, there is some rain that goes along with it. let's get into that side of this. you can see first alert doppler right now, it's go to the main event tomorrow morning. by 7:00 a.m., we have rain is sitting off the northwest coast, if you of those showers will come in to sonoma county, we looked at this in the newscast, this is the main event. after that, this thing will fizzle. there is a chance for rain from the golden gate south once we get into the early afternoon tomorrow. you might get a drop of rain but there won't be much to it. this is the cooldown that most of us are really

feeling tomorrow. maybe a 10th of an inch of rain in sonoma county. here is the next one. this one comes in on tuesday , on the later part of the day. we are looking ahead into the afternoon and evening. next line of showers, not even as impressive as tomorrow. watch that one fall apart. we get a little bit of rain out of the northbay . what did the totals look like if we add them up? that is monday's rain, and if we add tuesday, on top of that, if you want, technically maybe some of those numbers went up. those numbers look smaller than when we looked at this in the 6:00 newscast. forecast models vary from hour to hour, the trend has been for less rain over the last six hours. it doesn't mean it will stay that way, but the models have been trending towards that over the last several runs for tomorrow. then, there is another one, clearing out the first two, those are what we just looked at, then the pacific develops one more out here and try to throw that our way. should that
