test test test test test test test test test test test test test test tonight, san francisco is releasing video on the man who ran his car into chinese consulate earlier this month. witnesses told 911 that the man was armed. >> the car drove into the building drove into the lobby and the driver have gun. >> other 911 callers said yin was pepper sprayed by private security when the police arrived and found him hunched over by the wall. >> get on the ground >> does he have a gun? >> the video shows yang swinging the knife in the struggle. shots were fired. the

police also showed photos of a large loaded crossbow in yang's car and the knife in his hand. the chief admitted they don't know if the pepper spray impaired yang's vision. >> we can not assume what he could or could not see. what we do know is the caller tads he had a gun, and the knife came out during the incident. >> the police say yang was a chinese national living in the city and did not elaborate on what his intentions might have been citing their ongoing investigation. we heard of people socking away money but not like this. the police say they spotted a stolen car, pull today over and searched it. when they did they found a duffle bag with a fraudulent id, credit card and $15,000 stuffed in a sock. the driver was arrested for a slew of charges including identity theft. seismologist use technology

dome is moving out. there will be a storm system approaching the west coast. it will miss us to the north. close enough to effect our weather heading not weekend. squeezing the atmosphere, a cooler breeze, more temperatures, clouds, even a chance for a couple of showers. we will look at that in just a moment. improve our air quality that was not great today. the haze on the horizon got into the orange category. insensitive and good air quality across the board by saturday, sunday, monday, looking out from the tower. there is the fog that is going back in. it is a shallow marine layer. it has, upper 50s right now in san francisco. most the temperatures back in the 60s. san jose holding on to 74 degrees. you will cool off as well later on tonight. middle to upper 50s for most of us by the morning. the exception to that, a few locations barely staying at or above 60 degrees, the numbers are slightly above normal. we will not warm up nearly as much tomorrow compared to today. take a look

at the high temperatures, lower 80s. 83 degrees in san jose. 10 degrees cooler than today. the temperatures inland in the east bay, reaching up into the middle to lower 80s as well. those numbers, five to eight degrees above average. down to the peninsula you will cool off significantly and only middle 60s along the coast. now, back to near normal temperatures around the bay. those inland temperatures that are warmer, that does not include the north bay. the temperatures are going to start off cooler and you will warm up only into the middle to upper 70s. closer to average this time of the year and cooling trend is going to continue as we head into the weekend. let's take a look at the future cast. not just the temperatures that you will notice a change, marine layer asserting itself, a lot of sunshine. i will spread the fog too far inland to begin the day inland. it will, tomorrow night, into saturday morning, a mix of clouds and sunshine on saturday. dry for the first half of the weekend. another wave of cloud cover heading our way on saturday night into early sunday, look at this, we

have showers hitting the coast and head to the north bay before the sun comes up sunday morning. the off and on showers are possible heading through sunday. it will be hit-or-miss activity. only about a 30 to 50% chance of rain in any spot. not an all day wash out. be flexible. the latest forecast model is producing a couple thunderstorms trying to move farther and farther inland. something we will monitor, not the most likely it is not imnoble time of the year. let's check out the seven-day forecast. temperatures will drop inland. 10 degree drop tomorrow, another 10 degree drop on saturday and we hover there on sunday. we warm up 10 degrees inland on monday and tuesday. it will be a brief baby warm up compared to the heatwave that is coming to an end. and the warm up on monday and tuesday it will not be as noisable around the bay. the best chance will be for the north bay, around the bay, along the coast. you have one of the better chances of showers in san francisco and oakland heading into the second half of the weekend and, of course, coastal regions has a

up at the first alarm. they can improve your mood. just don't overdo it and miss work that would not improve your finances. i am more concerned about being a mom. we don't get to hit snooze a lot in that job. if you love apple and have a lot of wall space and deep pockets there is the auction for you. the apple rainbow logo sign going up for bids starting october 30th. it hung at the company's headquarters from the early '80s to the early '90s. be aware the shine is off of this apple. described as having cracks and peeling along with general outdoor wear. an actor out of work in hollywood is a scary situation. how they are giving other people a scare to help keep themselves afloat

. spooky season. but for out of work moviemakers things have been scary for a long while. we go through a new haunted house that is horrifying its guests while bringing people back to work. >> reporter: no work to be done and no normal paycheck.
