very dry, and if we come in and visualize this in another way, we've seen the atmosphere coming from the north, let's watch how things change today. relative committee on the map, taking from this morning and to tonight, these are the areas of dry air getting pulled in on those northerly winds, want to get blown off the coast. that takes us ahead to tomorrow morning, when we get to the peak of this offshore wind event. the. for greater concern for the red flood warning, you can visualize, look at the wins, the streamline on here, those are northwesterly winds going offshore, that's what we call them offshore winds, and it's blowing that dry air over the ocean. this is extending pretty far. let's superimpose on top of that where the red flag warning is. hopefully this makes more sense, the timing on this as it goes until 5:00, it's not the entire bay, but it's most of it. the only place not included in this are the major population centers along the bay. it's pretty nice

weather if you're there. it's offshore winds, getting a warm-up, and a slight breeze. if you're in the north bay valleys, your included in the red flag warning and often in red flag warnings is limited to the mountains but this time the northbay mountains are included. now we're visualizing wind speeds, you got 45 mile per hour gusts, but keep your eye on santa rosa, because over the next six hours, those downsloping winds are going to start getting into the valleys, if you're just on the downwind side of the mountain range in the northbay, you can expect gusts to pick up. it's not going to be terrible, but it's going to be windier than it is now, and drier air, and that's why this becomes a concern. the other way to talk about this is to look at where the wind advisory is. the red flood warning takes into account when in low humidity's, when advisory is telling you that it's going to be windy in the mountains, and this will go through the late morning and early afternoon, and by 5:00 it will die down. it will be a
