be widespread steady rain coming in wednesday. and that's the main event right there. i'm not putting the specific times there yet. we are keeping it generally bracketed to wednesday. into thursday morning before the tail end of it kind of clears and then we will be back in the center of the system which is kind of where the colder air is. that one will less us at this point. >> this one can look pretty dramatic. this storm is put together in ways that enable it to have stronger wind than the last couple of storm that's have come through. and you can watch that line kind of come in right when the main bands of rain do. so right through wednesday, we'll be looking at an up tick in winds. again, we are not putting specific numbers on it yet. there is no wind advisories yet. it is kind

of early. but if the national weather service, we will let you know. we have already designated wednesday a first alert day. that is just our way of always making sure several days out, if we can see something with high certainty coming, we just want to raise the awareness on it, we'll do it. but here's the nuance on this. while this will be a good amount of rain, this is not going to be an overwhelmingly problematic amount of rain for us. we are looking at two-and-a-half inches in the north bay. and an inch-and-a-half in the golden gate south. that is pretty comparable to the last storm that came at the end of last week and the impact should also be comparable. you get ponding on roadways. and some of the smaller streams and creeks up in the north bay. might reach banks. the levels of the banks. so that's it. this would not be the kind of storm that would cause widespread flooding on the mainstream rivers. this is not like that. but it is still going to be an impactful

system. that's why we have first alert wednesday, thursday might have to be included. for right now, we can clearly see wednesday having some of the best ingredients of the system. notice how the showers do kind of linger a bit going into friday. it looks like a progressive pattern. there could be more coming after this one. but let's take them one at a time. all right, andrea, back to you. >> thanks darren,. utah has put up new billboards to try and convince the as to play there following the 2024 season. that's when the lease at the coliseum ends and the stadium in las vegas isn't expect today be finished until 2028. matt? >> very interesting. coming up in sports, we are in the final countdown. the niners just one win away from the super bowl. but they are going to have to get past the lions first. we have the keys to the game for you right after the break.

the 49ers are ready, biggest game of the year. we have three keys to the game for san francisco. number one, it all revolves around brock purdy. he has to play like the finalist. the lions ranked just 27th in passing defense this season. their secondary is certainly a huge weakness. and they have allowed over 340 passing yards to matt stafford and baker mayfield in these playoffs. it is time for brock to step up, have a signature performance. all right, and open up that passing game, what do you do? you have to run it well. key number two is feed christian mcaffrey. seems like kyle shanahan forgot he has the rushing champ on his team. the lions are the second best run
