this month along with the new owner there are lingering concerns about whether the stadium will be ready for major leaguers to play ball next season. the players association hasn't signed off on playing on artificial turf in triple digit temperatures and facilities are currently being built but major league baseball said in a statement it is a certainty that the a's will play their 2025 season in sacramento as planned i is continuing to work effectively % details of the transition. some fans, though, aren't so sure, they believe the a's will remain rooted in oakland at least for now. >> until something is official, until something is definitive , they are all just rumors . i have set it this whole time, you know, until the a's are officially gone i believe that they're leaving. >> no, they are coming back. they don't have anywhere else to play.

>> by the way, it was a pretty good night for the ballers. they won their first home playoff game either monday park. they beat the yellow high wheelers 1-0 and they will host them again tomorrow. a fremont man is facing federal charges accused of attacking a flight attendant on a tampa cisco bound plane. 30-year-old charles angel salva was arrested on federal charges. the feds say he was on a frontier flight and suddenly pulled down oxygen masks, started screaming and grabbing passengers. he also allegedly choked and kicked two flight attendants . eventually passengers pinned him down. the plane was diverted to the ontario airport. one flight attendant actually had to be taken to the hospital. charging documents say that's all the admitted to using ecstasy before getting on the plane he said he wanted to pull the emergency flight button to crash the plane. he also apparently admitted that he was hearing voices . if convicted he could face up to 30 years in prison. in a statement,

it is really hard to imagine san francisco sideline without this, the transatlantic pyramid. it is all dressed up in a new lighting. when the skyscraper first opened in 1972 it was very controversial, got national attention for its unique design, not everybody liked it. some people thought it was actually going to be a blight on the city skyline. the

city manager at the time called it an inhumane creation but since then the city and people around the world seem to have embraced the look at the transamerica building was actually closed to the public during the pandemic now after years of renovations it is shining over the city. today there was a big celebration that pretty much lasted from the morning till the night to unveil the $1 billion renovation to the building. what has changed for the iconic san francisco structure. >> the crown jewel of downtown san francisco skyline is reopening today with the pomp and circumstance fit for historical landmark. but john increase our crew members with the transamerica pyramid had to convince the city to fall in love with it. >> the shape and height, it was quite a shock. i was the front man during all of this controversy and all of this construction.

onto the floor, i am going to position myself . to stand over the bay area because i'm going to bring the temperatures forecast and show you the cold air that is going to come in over the course of the next several days so we are going to cover up the map , that is why am standing over the bay area so you can keep your geographic bearings. temperatures stay close to normal over the next several days, back-and-forth overnight and the cooldown in the daytime warm up and here comes that cool air charging in. indicate temperatures that are going to be running about five to 15 degrees below average from sunday through wednesday of next week and that has a number of consequences. first of all, it is going to significantly kick up the winds once again though we are going to be tracking wind gust on sunday in the 22 35 mile an hour range sunday afternoon into sunday evening let's get the gustiest went into early evening come you can see all those red shaded panels indicating 30+ mile an hour gusts. continued after the sun goes down, it will be a noticeable breeze kicking into start the day on monday. it also means an increase in our rain chances. nothing to get too excited about. it is september, after all. we're talking about a decent 30% rain chance sunday night into monday and another 30% rain chance is going to be heading our way from wednesday into the evening. these numbers could still go up. usually this time of year the rain chances tend

to be loosely holding the football for charlie brown this is unusually strong storm system for this time of year. in fact, two storm systems back to back will bring in that significantly cooler air. san francisco running about five degrees below average. the bigger departure from normal is going to be farther inland. san jose, especially sunday, monday and wednesday, running closer to 10 degrees below normal and the biggest partner from average will be east of the oakland hills where temperatures are going be running close to 15 degrees below normal and the tri-valley on sunday at about closer to 12 degrees below normal on monday and again on wednesday followed by a warm up there are some 90 degrees readings in the forecast far down the line as we head into the last weekend of summer technically, the fall solstice is on, equinox is on sunday with high temperatures forecasted to be 90 degrees for the first official day of fall. we'll keep an eye on that, the 10th day in a 10 day outlook. tomorrow's high temperatures, what you need to know as we head out the door tomorrow with

temperatures in the 50s to begin the day but that warming up, not a whole lot of fog to disperse the temperatures, quickly into the mid-to-upper 80s and the santa clara valley. the hotspots into the low 90s. a mix of mostly 70s around the bay, 80s for fremont and redwood city with temperatures mostly to the middle portion of the 80s for the north bay, as well by tomorrow afternoon. seven-day forecast does include that cooldown that is in store for the second half the weekend and early next week. we're not being bold enough at this . to add any raindrops to the forecast for sunday night and monday because 2230% chance is still significantly lower than a 50-50 chance but we will keep you updated on that. the way the storm system is kind of shaping up it is possible that if we get some showers on monday it'll be instability in the atmosphere, couple those could actually develop into full-fledged thunderstorms. we will be watching that, as well. was to keep our eyes on including the term of the fog, mist, drizzle as we head into the early next week. a lot going on. >> there is a lot going on but you know, that's what we have you for. >> thank you. >> i sort of just trust. thank
