11:14 pm
his, while 99% of the dna found on the handle of the knife was nima momeni. >> we were saying it wasn't our guy, he wasn't at the scene, we'd be in trouble. we're not saying that. the video shows nima momeni grabbing the knife and throwing it over the fence. and that would explain where his dna is on the handle. >> reporter: the experts said they tested all parts of the murder weapon against both men's dna. they found limited support for momeni's dna on the blade that was covered in lee's blood, and they found limited support for lee's dna on the handle, challenging the defense's theory that it was in lee's hand at any time. but that may not be enough to prove to a jury that only momeni handled the knife. >> but if you were handling the knife before in an explainable way, the defense could argue that's why his dna is on the knife. >> reporter: the experts said the likelihood of bob lee's dna
11:15 pm
being on the blade of the knife is 1.66 septillion times. the experts also said the likelihood of momeni's dna being on the handle of the knife is 2.98 octillion times greater than that of a random person. all this the prosecution hopes will show the jury that momeni intended the use the knife on lee that evening. >> to stay up to date on everything happening in the bob lee murder trial and watch the rest of lauren's reports, head to kpix.com. cars piled up on top of each other looking a lot like toys. the satellite images that show the level of destruction left behind from deadly flooding in spain. and this fine isn't just big, it's astronomical. the country trying to send a message to google with a lot of zeros.
