share. what does tomorrow look like? because tomorrow, it's going to rain. it's not going to rain hike it has over the last few days, so if we take a look at the close-up forecast and go ahead to tomorrow morning now, the time stamp there in the upper right hand corner, if we could keep that time up there, that'd be helpful. a quarter to 10:00 a.m. tomorrow, 9:45. we're seeing isolated bands of rain that come in, not the widespread, steady, all day rainmakers. these are more isolated cells that come down with intensity. the rain could be stronger with these as they come through your part of the bay. they don't last long. they get in, they'll get out. so this does not really raise a big flooding concern with one minor exception. we still have some flooding issues on the russ river, and there is still a flood warning for the russian river as it goes through the canyon, near guerneville that. s say . -- that stays in effect

>> the tree's already been up in union square. >> 'tis the season. >> haven't even hit thanksgiving yet. let's talk about the rain still to go. so there is more rain coming in tomorrow, and i mean, we put a little bit of a spotlight on this a moment ago, which is to watch the high resolution futurecast depiction. we're going to put specific times on that in a moment. look at that little band of heavier cell of rain that moves across the north bay. that happens tomorrow morning. just take one wide look at the map with me. so this is kind of generic but you're seeing tomorrow. general takeaway from this is there's more rain coming so want to get more specific in terms of what the latest thinking is on when, where, and maybe how much. let's come back up over here. we were talking about the flood warning. still in place. that's specific to the russian river and as it goes through that beautiful canyon, so guerneville until 4:00 a.m., the russian river is still potentially right at that minor flood stage that. little cell
8:26 pm
of rain we looked at, we're going to watch it again. so keep your eye on the high resolution model. you see that comes across and goes through sonoma county tomorrow morning. so that's like, you know, 9:45. the beautiful recreation of what we just did on the virtual map. but as that goes over, that's pretty much right over the russian river watershed. so this could be enough rain, should it play out exactly that way, it comes down fairly quickly, but it's a short period of time. you might get a little bit of a flash increase. nothing too concerning on the russian river. not any worse than it is right now. but after it goes down and that flood warning expires, it may be able to creep up a little more tomorrow as that goes through. then we look at the rest of the day. this is where it just becomes kind of messy. i want to stop it right there. this is when we start to see the better chance bay areawide for everybody to see rain come back but not like the last three days. this stuff gets in and gets out. so you get some scattered showers tomorrow. some of these come down with briefer bursts of a

little more intensity than what we had for the last three days. and then they clear out. the totals are not going to be big tomorrow. this is not a concern of flooding like what we had. this is not an urban roadway flood concern. none of that. i don't even think we would see any of the smaller streams and creeks through the east bay hills. none of that would be a factor here. it's just enough that you've got to know you're not done with rain for sunday. you'll get plenty of breaks of blue sky, and then the rain will move the and it'll go back and forth. then on monday there's just a little more. take a look at monday morning into the afternoon. scattered showers are still with us on monday before we can clear this out going into tuesday. this is still a complicated forecast because the dividing line for the next little surge that's coming on on that's going to continue rain in the forecast for california in general going all the way into wednesday and thursday, like with the last storm, we were right on the southern edge of it and then we really got hit. for that next storm that comes in on tuesday
8:28 pm
and wednesday, that one goes to our south. let's pause this right here. now, that's the next wave that comes in. you see how it went to the south of us. so right on the line. i don't anticipate much rain from that. we don't have rain in the seven-day forecast as we get into wednesday and thursday. so the pattern in the pacific is just as convoluted and busy as it has been. there is good news in terms of calming down. let's get back over to the virtual map. considering we didhave a cold front come through, we'll clear out the futurecast on here. let's talk about tomorrow morning's lows. they're fine. we're not getting terribly cold here. tomorrow afternoon your daytime highs are pretty nice. mid-60s, fairly comfortable day tomorrow. in the seven-day forecast definitely rain for the sunday terrarium. count on rain on monday. not as much, but scattered showers on monday. and then by tuesday the focus of this starts shifting south. and as you look across
8:29 pm
the rest of the seven-day forecast, there may be a bit of a cloud on there for thanksgiving. there's no rain in our forecast from wednesday going into next weekend. it does appear like we'll get a nice long well deserved break in the action. all right, brian, back over to you. >> well, that's the silver lining in the forecast. the thing about silver linings is they produce rainbows, and we had a beautiful one shot from moraga when that little front passed through. it was blue skies and some build up and a reminder that at least we got a break and what's on the way won't be as bad. so that's good news, andrea? >> and thanks to these recent storms, north star lake tahoe opened its season a day early. heavenly ski resort in south lake tahoe also opened earlier this week. royal mountain resort, palisades tahoe, and sugar bowl all followed suit on friday. now, despite intermittent chain controls on i-80, people were excited for the start of the season and
