it's really over the next couple of mornings, bottoming on tuesday. tuesday morning is the coldest morning coming our way in this seven-day forecast. want to show you what some of the numbers look like. a lot of low 40s down here in the south bay. temperatures in the north bay will do their thing. that happens when we get to our coldest mornings. they'll go down into the low and mid-30s up there. so heads up on that. daytime highs will get a little bit cooler. you may not notice that as much as you will early risers in the morning. and this is the kind of situation where we likely will be talking about some kind of frost advisory as we get closer to it. all right, let's get over to the forecast imagery, because now we want to turn our attention to this possibility for rain and see how likely this is and how much we might get, see what the storm track's doing out there, staying away from us. we can play it forward. on the big picture you see a series of storms starting on friday. the first one not all that much. there's going to be two after it that come through that start to look better. there's one that gets us from friday into
11:17 pm
saturday. and then here's one that comes in for monday. i mean, we'll get way out here. take a look at the date up here, monday, december 16th. we don't want to go that far yet. it's a little too far to try and put specific forecast details together like that. it's interesting to see how it's coming together. let's slow it down and play it again for the first storm. that one we do want to start getting as much detail on as we can. thursday night a weak little system domes through. we don't get much from that. thursday afternoon into the evening. here comes the first one. that will be more notable measurable rain for us. starts on friday. goes through saturday. stopping it there. that gets us into friday night. deeper shades of green. still some left showers by saturday morning. that clears out through the remainder of saturday. this next one we'll hold off on for now. that one could have better rainfall totals, but those storms tend to always look -- if you go out like 10, 11 day, the storms typically tend to look more impressive than they
11:18 pm
end up being. we're not going to play around with is that monday storm yet. instead, we're going to try and get a best estimate on how much rain we'll get from that main system that comes through friday into saturday. we'll look at two different forecast models for that. here's the system as it's seen by the american model. that's for the friday/saturday system. we get about 0.25 of an inch of rain out of it. this would be the european model, its depiction for that friday/saturday rain. numbers are bigger but still within the same ballpark. 0.25 of an inch of rain, 0.33 of an inch of rain. that gets us through friday and saturday. we will wait to see how things develop after that. let's get back to the virtual set. the one thing i would say about this is it does look promising after that for systems to continue to develop and keep coming our way with a chance of rain. could be active as we head towards the middle of december. but one seven-day at a time. here's the first one. got our rain on here for friday and saturday. right now most of that would be centered on friday. and then there will be
