south of old town scottsdale, definitely a major issue. a woman from this assisted- living facility walked outside about 9:30 last night to take the trash out to the dumpster, that is when she saw the 7-foot boa. >> literally slithering through the center of the road. >> taking up the entire parking spot on a scottsdale road ladder 602 had the pleasure of capturing a 6-foot >> it was pretty docile and it liked to be petted. around it for a minute until we got it in a bag. >> 17 years in scottsdale fire department had to handle a snake of this size not native to the state of arizona but the 7-foot girl is now the third and in the last month alone. which begs the question what's going on in scottsdale?

at st. joe's hospital where his cousin works. team 12 caught up with sam to talk about the valley's love and support and what is next for the olympian we make a huge amount of support in the valley where his family still lives. nurses who work with his cousin raised thousands to help them get to the olympics. sam dorman walked into a hero's welcome at the st. joe's nicu. >> thank you. everybody. >> they knowe the staff here at st. joe's nicu is like a big family. >> huge support here. they were calling me and im. i got messages from a bunch of them. >> today he got to match faces to all those messages. and those got to revel in his

valley. a little rain out there. getting visibility with this dust anywhere from about a quarter-mile to half-mile or so. most of those reports are coming out of the queen creek area. all of this happening in the far south east valley. you can see we have a dust storm advisory in effect until 6:00 for the northwest portion of pinal county. just south of the phoenix metro area. as far as rain, not at ten you can see mountain, stay together. they had heavy rain but as a pushed into northern mesa we are just left with light rainfall coming down. we are not seeing a whole lot of lightning. unfortunately it doesn't look like that will last too much longer. hopefully some of you getting a little rain. otherwise a dusty situation now another dust advisory extended further south and portions of
