>> it's super bowl 50 match-up again. we take you to denver for a preview of tonight's broncos versus panthers game. 12 news at noon starts right now. now. good afternoon, everyone. thanks so much for watching 12 news at noon. >> new at noon, police have just identified the woman killed on the 51 last night. her name is dinya farmer. she was 49 years old. >> she was driving on the highwa killed. police want your lep in finding the people responsible. >> brian west has more details near the thomas road exit. >> reporter: the police investigation continues this afternoon after overnight a woman is had he and killed here on sr-51. she was heading northbound. freedom police tell us the whom would got on the highway called 911 saying three men in a work truck were following her. during that call, the dispatcher heard several shots ring out.

center defineder, medics rushed her to the hospital in critical condition where she later died. police say 911 received about 5 or 6 other calls from people in other vehicles. they described seeing the white truck driving very aggressively down the freeway and that it caused several accidents. the white truck had ladders and a toolbox in the truck bed. now a second woman in a different vehicle is in the hospital this morning with injuries after being involved in a separate accident, freedom police telling us as the investigation continues, the thsu truck are still at large. if you have any information call freedom p.d. or silent witness. we're along state 51. brian west, 12 news. >> police believe the suspects might have known the woman killed. a woman convicted of faking a cancer deny to -- diagnosis has been sentenced. 31-year-old zit ner is sentenced

falsified medical records, telling an obstetrician put her pregnancy in changer. the two men ae. arrested a while police chase on tuesday appeared in court today. reuben rodriguez and sergio are charged with armed robbery with a deadly weapon. both are held on a $250,000 bond. an elderly man loses his home in a fire. this happened near 56th street in thomas. firefighters say it started in the back of the house up into the attic. the man got out without getting hurt, but the house is a total loss. the cause is under investigation. senators have asked the interior department to support a permanent memorial for the victims of the 2011 shoot incomes tucson. the two senators have sent a ler wednesday to the department of interior secretary, sally jewel.
