good morning to you thank you for joining us for "12 news weekend today", i'm matt morrow along with matt pace hope you're off to a t is sunday, everyone has been waiting all year for this the first sunday night football game and it is right here on 12 news. looking at the university of phoenix stadium, two-game -- the game tonight is special because they will be taking on the patriots tonight in glendale the place will be rocking later today, much more on the game in a minute by first matt is here with a game day forecast if you're doing early till getting

some food bring the whole family, a couple of hours before the home game. bryan west 12 news. 12 news is your place for the home team sunday night football kicks off tonight the cardinals begin what we hope is the road to the super bowl. they start against the new england patriots. meanwhile at 8:35 this morning the 15th anniversary of the date this nation has promised to ne the 9/11 terrorist attack killing nearly 3000 innocent people destroying the lives of many more. these are some of the horrific images from the morning in 2001. a coordinated attacks terrorists flew two planes into the world trade center's. they attacked the north tower first and then the south tower, after burning for more than 56 minutes the south tower collapsed the north tower

heard the steel beams creek and we saw shrapnel and papers flying in the air. and then, we started to see things that didn't look like metal, falling off the building's. and then, we realized those where people. >> cindy went through survivor's guilt and still suffers from ptsd. >> i knew people who died and i thought it easily could have been me. >> this had been to the 9/11 memorial here in arizona. >> yes. >> for you to see this and the memorial, what goes through your mind?>> we all have an opportunity to rise and remember because it is incredibly important for us to reflect and remember. >> this memorial is symbolic in some anyways, physically it encircles a piece of steel
