here is what we know so far, the arizona school facilities board approved a $2.4 million project to repair the two schools that have been closed for safety reasons. during the repairs, they are answering questions, one landmark six were there, and mother said that the district calling these meetings, they are happy about. >> my most anxiety was, were what are they going to do? but thanks to this meeting, everything was answered. >> reporter: the district's announcement on friday caught people off guard. but now, everyone is feeling much more informed. the students will be a school for the next couple of days. they will be back to school on thursday. as you mentioned, there is a meeting under way right now,

live and glendale, trisha hendricks, 12 news roosevelt school district members are meeting with parents. on friday, they did not have enough buses for the students. some parents did not receive the alert. that meant that their children were left stranded with no way to get the school. parents are now asking for more transparency from the district. >> wean and tell the truth. let us know, so that we are prepared and we know what is happening with our students. you should not leave little kids abandoned at school bus sites. >> we reached out to the district today but we did not receive a response. >> back to the problems in the glendale school districts. we started wondering today, why the district needed cash after voters approved billions of
