the forecast. but the clouds today, capped the rain from falling. here's why. during monsoon we heat up in the valley and that results in rising air and you get those thunderstorms but that cloud cover and we didn't have heating. just rising air and that means very light rain around the region. certainly, the clouds were nice but hurt our rainfall. the clouds stick around, and you can see them around entire region tonight and tomorrow. and we're putting a chance of rain for northern arizona but could see pockets of heavy rainfall. but by thursday, check out this storm system, our cold front moves through the state and brings windy conditions to northern positions and could see wind gusts up to 50 miles per hour. saturday morning, 66 is the low. that's our forecast low and
