in stand up paddle boarding or surfing the verde river, it takes someone that is interested in trying new activities, a sense of balance, a sense of adventure and open mind to trying something new. i tried to take her out of her element a few times here and there, get her up on the river. she just moved to arizona, i've been here for about ten years so i'm taking her to do all my like, "yes!" so, if you've never been on the water before, there's just no feeling like riding across the surface on a stand up paddle board. you almost feel like you're just floating on a cloud, very cushiony, comfortable, and it's like a magic carpet ride. it was my first time paddle boarding on a river, i've had a little bit of experience in the ocean and
