a red or green light on the freeway, listen up. adot has a warning for drivers of route 51. your wait is about to get longer. monique griego is here with the story monique? >> well as most drivers know these ramp lights turn on during rush hour and youm probably notice them -- you'll probably notice them >> we've all been there in a rush and about to jump on the freeway. then you see the line of cars waiting at a metered ramp signal for their green light. >> i can say it was frustrating. it's time consuming. >> that wait is about to get a little longer for drivers on sr 51 as adot starts testing the timing of the signals. they say drivers may notice.

earlier today. it was the west valley that lucked out. glendale with two tenths of an rain. sun city west at.16. peoria.07. most of that is gone tonight. you can see on the satellite radar that it's shifting its way through prescott south of williams that's where the showers are moving. slick travel there along the i- us tucson which is typically where we see storms originate for us it's quiet right now. in the clear for a short time. indian wells holbrook you can see more storms in that direction. we're going to continue with the unsettled conditions because of an area of low pressure. even though we have two more days left of the monsoon we're going continue to see some of those conditions for thursday.
