a eight year old... and walks with a limp.he was last seen wearing a dark color t-shirt, jeans.... and black & white nike shoes. this morning we have new details on a phoenix police officer involved shooting. it happened tuesday night and police tell us it started as a drug sting operation. it ended when a plain clothes officer was forced to shoot 26-year-old john carpentier after he allegedly rammed into another police cruiser. carpentier is also accused of raising a gun in the incident. he remains hospitalized in extremely critical condition.. erick yuriar -- a passenger in the vehicle -- has been arrested on weapons charges and an outstanding warrant. maricopa county sheriff joe arpaio has ?lost his lawsuit against the owners of a downtown phoenix office building. sheriff arpaio fell and broke his shoulder outside of the property three years ago. he claimed the owners were negligent and should have known about the dangerous conditions. a judge disagreed and said arpaio failed to show drains on the walkway were dangerous at all. this weekend marks the beginning of small game

phoenix this upcoming saturday, october 1st. that's at 4pm at the phoenix airport marriott. in your morning health check... some of the most commonly used pain reducers may be linked to an increased risk of heart failure. italian researchers studied the effects of 27 non-steroid anti inflammatory drugs ... and four cox-2 inhibitors - which are often prescribed to treat arthritis. current users of any nsaid en-sed including ibuprofen -- were 19- percent more likely to be hospitalized for heart failure than past users. two cox-2 inhibitors were also linked to heart failure. experts say this does not mean these drugs cause heart failure ... but they do need to be taken carefully. adding a second antibiotic during c-section deliveries could help decrease the risk of infection after surgery. one-thousand women undergoing a c-section were given an i-v of azithromycin or a placebo ...
