a superior court judge has sentenced a casa grande man to life in prison. martinez received more than 283 years behind bars. he was convicted of molesting 10 children over the course of more tan 30 years. >> the prosecutor who tried jodi arias for murder is appealing discipline take was handed down last week by the discipline committee of the arizona supreme court. the arizona republic reports that martinez is fighting a september 29 decision that recommended that he be placed on probation r and 12 news has learned the identity of the man who died after being electrocuted at a commercial building in the southwest valley yesterday. according to phoenix police, that contractor was 57-year-old frank sheets. it is unclear at this point what led to the accident. and the building near 75th avenue and buckeye road. all new at 5:00, arizona children in danger. we all know about watching our kids around water, but what about other dangers and how do

>> reporter: it turns out you're pretty likely if you about fast. there are some restriction tons flights, but if you are not set on the dates and you don't want to go that far, there are good deals for under $100. want to get away for less than $100? it is possible if you want to go to the right places. >> for short haul flights, i looked today, they were available, pretty widely available in places like san diego, l.a., las vegas, if your dates are really flexible. >> po republic travel reporter found flights as low as $49, but they have to be close to phoenix, non-stop flights an on the right days. but if you miss out, there is hope. southwest is already cheap. >> you can find $59, so on some shorter routes, that is still $20 and if you have several family members, that adds up to savings. >> reporter: you use fewer points and use them for the

its own sales on days of the week. >> reporter: if you find the right day, southwest might have lower prices than even their sales advertises. if you miss out completely, don't panic. southwest actually has sales every month or so. >> southwest has sales pretty often, especially lately. it is not going to be the only sale opportunity. you're going to see another sale probably after thanksgiving just for the period between thanksgiving and the middle of december. >> reporter: one thing to keep in mind, these prices are not good douring the like christmas and thanksgiving and some of the flights are in the middle of the week. >> all right. thank you. the fda is warning the parents tonight to stop using homeopathic teething tablets and gels. the feds say that those products have not been evaluated or approved and could pose a health risk for babies. the fda has received reports of the homeopathic teeth progress ducts could be linked to seizures and other health issues.

category four hurricane with winds new at 140 miles per hour. it is moving north at nine miles per hour. so moving right there over the eastern tip of cuba. it will continue on. it is going to barrel through the bahamas here as we head into wednesday. by thursday we'll start to see that get a little closer to the united states coast and then this computer model showing this could be a landfall somewhere off the coast of north carolina as a category two hurricane by saturday afternoon. so that is we're going to show you future cast here and it shows you just how much rain is expected to move through the bahamas. in some cases, 20-inches. the first rain band by thursday sometime and take a look at all of that rain by friday moving into georgia, south carolina, north carolina. so this is something we're going to be watching closely here. as for arizona, things looking pretty good for us. 85. we were below average.

we were yesterday. two degrees cooler than if you were in chandler. we're going to keep the nice, sunny skies ands there cooler- than-average temperatures as we head through the next couple of days. then we have a chance of rain expected for this weekend. take a look at temperatures tonight. it will get a little cool again tonight. 62 in phoenix. we'll see 50s across the valley. 28 tonight for the grand canyon. the 30s in flagstaff. tomorrow flag you're topping out at 61. plenty of sunshine there. 88 down for he degree below 90 and yuma, 91. for phoenix, we're going to stay in the 80s here the next couple of days. frird we bump up briefly to the 90s and then we get the chances of rain here. just a slight chance for the race for the cure on sunday and back to the 90s by monday. anyone can beat anyone in
