commander crashed under unknown circumstances near 43rd avenue. the crash site is about four miles west of deer valley airport. the pilot and passenger are reported to be in serious but stable condition. phoenix police shot a man wearing body armor and carrying a gun overnight near 37th street and van buren. the police say he pointed his gun in their direction twice while trying to hide behind a and is expected to survive. jo and tim tebow is speaking -- tim tebow is speaking out since being called a hero by some in the arizona fall league. tebow tended to a man who had a seizure at glendale's camelback ranch, prayed over him while waiting for an ambulance to arrive. he then told reporters that what he did is something that anyone else should have done in that same situation.

here is what is happening nationally. the big weather now will definitely be over into the midwest. we have some storms barreling towards memphis now. they stretch all the way up to cities like cincinnati, the state of michigan there also seeing rainy weather. the update on hurricane nicole is that it is new a category three hurricane. so that is a major hurricane. it is the only major hurricane in the past 60 years or so to make its way towards ud right now so were needa again may likely see this storm come through as category three hurricane as we head through the next couple of days. meanwhile, on the northwest coast, we have another area of low pressure that is moving into the pacific northwest. the main concern will be wind. now, that storm is going to stay to the north of arizona, and then there is another one that is going to come in right behind it as we head into the weekend that one as well will stay north of arizona.
