accept a clear election result, but like any candidate, he reserves the right to take legal action if questionable circumstances arise. trump's comments come weeks after the claims of the electoral process and institutions rigged against him and the election would be stolen by under handed tactics. >> and if al gore or george bush had agreed three weeks before the election to concede the results and waived their right to a legal challenge recount, then there would be no supreme court case and no al gore versus bush or bush versus al gore and there have been numerous other cases. in effect, i'm being asked to waive centuries of legal precedent designed to protect the voters. >> their three debates are finished, but tonight clinton and donald trump have one more showdown, but this time with jokes.

foundation dinner is underway right now in new york city. this is actually a live look from inside. tradition dictates the candidates deliver humorous remarks poking fun at each other and themselveses, and that seems pretty hard to envision considering how this election campaign has gone so far. the two fierce rivals are sitting one seat apart from each other this evening with new york's cardinal timothy doll lan act -- ol as the only buffer between them. last night's debate threw 71.6 million viewers on the tv alone. during the debate we invited 10 men and women down to the station to watch. and some have already decided who they'll be voting for. others haven't. we watched the debate tonight and -- together and i asked them what their overall opinion has been about the candidates in this vicious election cycle.

6:00, a -- on 12 news at 6:00, a body language takes a look at what the candidates were saying without saying it. all new, the phoenix police appealing for public for tips that could track down the serial street shooter. it has been more than seven months since the first in a series of nine shootings that occurred. seven people have been killed. and we are live from the 12 news alert center and spoke with family members of two of the victims. charlie? >> rte year-old stephanie ellis, her 12-year-old daughter and the 31- year-old angela liner were all shot to death inside a car parked in the driveway of their home. the phoenix police believe this was the eighth shooting carried out by a suspect they have yet to arrest and the family, some of whom don't want to show their faces out of fear, say their lives have been torn apart since losing their loved ones.

walk into the house. she was obnoxious. she was loud, but funny, you know, had you laughing. and my daughter stephanie, she was not just a daughter. she was a friend. and i miss that. >> i want to get whoever done this, for how it affected me. just hurting my i miss them. >> i remember on the 11th, the incident happened on the 12th. the last time i had talked and did anything for melia, she was getting ready to go to a theme park and her hair was all over her head and she was going to swim. i said come to me. and i braided her hair and we were talking and going on. my daughter stephanie, i remember her saying she was in there sitting on her bed.

block wall. the truck wound up in the pool in the back yard of that home. it is unclear what caused the driver to lose control. and check out the major damage to that pick-up. the driver has been taken to the hospital for treatment. luckily no one inside the home was injured, although there is plenty of clean-up in the back yard from the pool to the broken glass from both the truck and a window of the home. two people were hurt in a crash involving a wrong way driver on carefree highway this morning. three different vehicles were involved in this crash. i-17 was closed in that area southbound for about one hour. the technical crews had to rescue a man who was stuck in a pipe near hello bend this afternoon. the man was working in a power plant when he got lodged inside. the drews were able to -- crews were able to get him out. he was taken to the hospital as a precaution. the intersection has reopened after a car collided

>> well, according to police, the burglary suspect had left evidence inside of one of the homes that was hit, and he was even wearing the victim's clothes that suspect was taken into custody without a problem, as you see there, although after a lengthy chase. and, again, after the officer was able to catch the 22-year-old devin best is now being charged with burglary and theft. nice job running by that officer, too. more than 300 people gathered in belmont near flagstaff to honor the passing of sergeant major dan 5:00y, a code talker during world war ii. family members and veterans from across the state gathered to bury the 96-year-old. he served in the south pacific

warmer than we were yesterday by five degrees right now compared to yesterday out at phoenix sky harbor. four degrees there for scottsdale and glendale. of course, that was all of the result of a strengthening rick of high pressure -- ridge of high pressure that has been over the desert southwest. it has also helped to deflect that pacific storm track to the north of us. nowhere near arizona. this is going to start to break down as this ridge of high pressure moves to the east and to the ou trough of low pressure begins to dig in. it is pushing that high pressure off to the east and bringing some clouds, some rain, some wind, and even cooler temperatures with it. so it does impact your weekend. here is a look at your sunday football forecast. the seahawks versus the cardinals out at the university of phoenix stadium. by the time we get to kick-off, which is 5:30 and thereafter, we will have a 20% chance of rain in our forecast.
