j people here a pipeline. one just 10 years old set out for a 1,400-mile journey on foot. they left from nau and plan to join the protestors in north dakota. the idea came from two teams who says he is concerned over the violence that is happening and wanted to do something to show his support. this all comes a day after more than 100 people were arrested after blocking a highway used to access the construction site. the demonstrators say the pipeline is destroying sacred land and threatens to pollute the missouri river. >> a lot at stake there for many people and just thinking about them making that walk tells you a rot. >> very powerful. >> seriously. and switching gears now, it

one year ago tomorrow, asu and oregon played in one of the craziest games in sun devil history. oregon completed that answered prayer to send the game into overtime. and then there was a tiptoe touchdown catch in the third overtime right there by the ducks. and then fennelly when it was all said and done, picked off in the end zone to end the game. >> one year later, these two teams will meet once again. it looks like manny wilkins will be doing the same thing he was doing last playing. telling arizona sports 98.7 f.m. that he is doubtful. and the freshman will make his first start if manny can't go. and besides friday night fear, pat tillman, a football life. >> every game they played the national anthem, that's all i think about is pat, the whole time. i think about pat a lot. >> and passion is kind of an important word for me, whether it is playing sports or whether it is living or whatever you're

the arizona state fair wraps up sunday and once it is over, the traveling city will be on the move again. >> hundreds of people, including entire families with kids crisscross the country putting it all together. and team 12 is live at the fair and, nicole, you got the chance the see what every day life is like for system of these folks. >> reporter: i sure did. and imagine that this is your back yard. you get to go to a traveling school. that is the experience these kids get to have and it gives them some pretty cool opportunities. the game, the rides, the food. these are all the things we think about when we think of the fair. but behind all of this excitement, it is another day of school for the children of it all together. >> and we're a one-room schoolhouse. >> reporter: 10 students ranging in ages from 4 to 13 years old learning under one roof. >> we work our best to meet individual needs. >> reporter: like most kids, they have the same school subjects. >> and every morning we come to school at 8:30. you would start on that and science and history and then math, and then spanish. >> reporter: but unlike most other schools, they pack up and

and they make sure to make the most of it. >> we really aim for at least two field trips, a fair, and so we are taking the kids to a very -- very different places based on what we're studying. >> reporter: while they were studying space, they spent two days at nasa in houston. [ and they have a replica of the space shift. >> reporter: and thanks to private funding, the kids also have computers, a smart board and all students have ipads. >> and in row seta stone. >> reporter: the kids still take standardized tests. >> our kids are ahead of their peers. we keep our kids' lives as normal as they can be except after school they may want to go ride one of dad's rides. >> reporter: and phoenix is actually the last stop for this crew which means we're going to have a three-month break, which means the kids get a three- month vacation.
