>> cameron cox is in charlotte with the cardinals. >> reporter: welcome back to the scene of the crime. the memss are about as scary as they come for cardinal fans. their super bowl dreams crushed a little over nine months ago here in charlotte. thankfully there's no snow in sight so i'm already having a better time. old wounds, they don't heal that fast. the cardinals were 60 minutes away from achieving their lifelong dream. i'll never forget that scene in the locker room following the lo game to the panthers. many players in tears, including larry fitzgerald. that's something we don't usually don't see out of fitz. >> i've been johannesburg straight 18-hour flight. i've been to thailand. that was like a 17-hour flight. but the flight from carolina back to phoenix, that was the longest flight i've ever been on before and it was only about four hours. those type of things, you just don't forget those.

is it harmless fun or is there something going on you can't see in the dark? >> you always see those signs before you go in saying if you have a heart condition, blood pressure problems, anxiety, you shouldn't go inside. so what's really happening to your body when you're scared? >> reporter: they're horrifying and make you scream. haunted houses are designed but before you even go in, signs like these issuing a strict warning, don't step inside if you have medical problems, and enter at your own risk. >> so we wondered, what actually happens to your body when you walk through a haunted house? we're here at blood manor, one of the scariest haunted houses my producers could find. i'm going to be wired up with all these medical devices monitoring my vitals in real time to see what happens when you're scared out of your mind.

25th day in a row. 90 degrees plus. get outside and enjoy this. warming up pretty fast in gold canyon where the picture was taken. 83 degrees there. 73 in san tan valley. if you zoom out a little bit further, northern and central portions of california seeing quite a bit of rainfall. here in arizona we are going to stay dry. but things are going to be changing in our weather. there's futurecast. high pressure is going to move off to the east. look at that's going to drop in to the great basin by wednesday and thursday. that's going to mean a big cool-down coming in to our forecast. here's a look at the halloween forecast during the nighttime hours. 82 to 75 degrees. that sun will set right at about 5:30 out there. get outside and enjoy that. but the next seven days we are looking at a very slight chance of rain moving in the forecast wednesday and thursday. but first today those record highs before we drop it down to about average, 82 degrees by your wednesday.

at the mesa arts center. there's about five of us in there, older people like myself. i came out of there thinking i can do this kind of thing. got a welder out of ebay and a cutter and started making things. people drove by and said that's unique, can you make me one? start ed that way making more and more stuff. finally i got so busy and big that my wife said hey, go find a shop some place. bull custom metal. my younger son moved back here to the phoenix area. the rustic thing is pretty popular right now. a lot of people say do your thing and see what you come up with. they put some trust in me that way. that's why i try to come up with something out of the ordinary and something not everybody is doing. wake up in the middle of the night sometimes thinking about a project and how i can make it so people are going to really like it a lot. that kind of motivates me to get
