a part of the terminal was evacuated because of a possible threat which turned out to be an unattended item. there were frustrated travelers up with unanswered questions.>> reporter: amassed -- a mess of long lines snaked through terminal for after gaetz bnc were closed just after 9:00 a.m. due to a security situation at the c check point.>> tsa came up and told us they were evacuating and we couldn't go in >> reporter: hundreds of passengers arriving and departing were left waiting.>> we have no idea what is going on or what is happening or anything like that.>> reporter: the threat was taken so seriously that passengers that were aboard planes were bust off the tarmac and others had to stay in their seats and wait be left off the plane -- let off of the plane.>> it was a
