america's top military officer has said the u.s. will hunt down the new leader of al qaeda, zawahiri. the chairman of the joint chiefs of staff, admiral mike mullen, said he was not surprised by the choice of the egyptian militant to succeed bin laden, who shot by american forces in pakistan last month. our security correspondent reports. >> he is already a familiar figure. he worked with osama bin laden for many years and has given al qaeda much of its strategic direction and has long been the group's most visible spokesman. here he is just last week, saying the war with the west will go on. his appointment has been largely welcomed on jihadist web sites. bin laden and zawahiri collaborated closely. both have been fugitives and for

an al qaeda that is very fragmented and is much weaker and diminished from what was before. the decision making is decentralized. they did not grouped together very much, so these are part of the pressures the u.s. and its allies are trying to put on al qaeda to make it difficult for them to operate, and that may be an indication of it. i agree with admiral mullen that he is a high priority target. i believe his days will be numbered. he will be found sooner or later, just like a summer that laden was. -- just like osama bin laden was. them a better deal for domestic workers? new rights are being promised to the estimated tens of millions of domestic workers across the world. under a new convention adopted by the international labor organization, countries have for the first time undertaken to give domestic workers full labor rights, including annual leave,

maternity leave, and health insurance. for more, we have representatives of the campaign for domestic workers. how important is this initiative? >> it is very important. it is a milestone for getting domestic workers basic rights. we are fighting for these rights the last two decades, and this is a landmark. >> what do you think will be the challenges faced in implementing these new guidelines for workers? >> the challenges for implementing these new guidelines are very difficult. because the guidelines are very good, but the implementing part is a very difficult thing to

implement for the indian government. will passng that this laws to help protect the guidelines, particularly the health insurance, and very importantly, the minimum wage schedule. >> these new rights look good on paper and in principle, but what will it take to be able to move them forward? >> this is a very important milestone because it puts pressure on the indian government. if the international guidelines are agreed, the indian government has to follow with. if they don't follow it, international pressure will come. now the international laws,
