and welcome back, we are taking a look at the golden gate bridge. a full check of the weather soon, first, 100 arrests and oakland. the former bart officer was convicted of killing of oscar grant. and with two years in prison already with credit time served and he could be out in it under one the year. with mixed feelings, feeling just about 50-50 on the fairness of the sentencing. with the 400 protest thing that turned out mid afternoon and by the evening, some people began their march away from city hall and up towards lake merritt. some took their anger out of with vandalism to businesses, homes, and even towards the police officers and oakland. >> 16th avenue, and no overnight problems but you

can see the problems in this neighborhood. this is one of dozens of vehicles and other windshields crashed. trash is all over the place, and with people coming out of here, sweeping the street. there is still a lot to be done with fliers that reads " by m. oscar grant, and my life matters ". t-shirts, hanging from the fences and this is a video from 7:40 4:00 p.m. last night the one to two people there night ended with your arrested by the oakland police department. at that point, according to chief anthony, one of the protesters from grabbed a gun and a holster from one of the police officers. that is when a swarm in, a restaurant that protester. and the charge can with unlawful assembly. the chief said it is okay to protest but at that point they wanted to shut it down.

with no major injuries. the aftermath is that a lot of people in this neighborhood, when they did not think the protest would end up through their neighborhood since they are a couple of miles away from the downtown demonstration. here is a resident i spoke with and what she had to say. >> and all my neighbors get along and know each other, and for them to come down in the downtown oakland. they are just tearing up our neighborhood. we get a peaceful. and that was on real, that the stuff you see in somebody else's favorite, not mine. neighborhood is apparently because the protesters were heading towards the fruitvalle/bart station. just a few miles from where i am located. and according to valerie, that the police officers were waiting for them. and they quickly jumped in here, are arrested them without any
