whats to build the station to help alleviate traffic and congestion near san francisco chinatown. >> it's a waste of money for the people of san francisco who will not improve service and a fact make transit service on muni probably worse if this thing is actually constructed. >> muni said it worked of several ideas to alleviate congestion and chinatown without building of new subway system but m.t.a. officials say they have reviewed the ideas already and they would not to work. officials admit they are open to considering ideas by muni on other issues. it another way bay area transit companies could be losing money as loopholes and the clipper card system that allow users to go for a long ride without paying the full fare. stanley roberts shows us the problem in today's edition of people behaving badly.

good news for ec transit riders an agreement between the transit agency in the bus drivers' union means the proposed weekend cuts in services will not happen. jonathan blum has a look at what's going on. >> the crowd gathered behind me is protesting service cuts for ac transit that
